ना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घायल को तत्काल उपचार के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया। घायल की हालत गंभीर बताई जा रही है। पुलिस ने उसकी पहचान कराने के लिए आमजन से सहयोग की अपील की है।
पुलिस के अनुसार बुधवार, 15 जुलाई 2026 को करीब 12:30 बजे निजामपुर अंडरपास के समीप तिलक हॉस्पिटल के पास एक अज्ञात कार ने सड़क पार कर रहे करीब 40 से 45 वर्षीय व्यक्ति को जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के बाद वाहन चालक मौके से फरार हो गया, जबकि घायल सड़क पर गंभीर अवस्था में पड़ा रहा।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम तत्काल मौके पर पहुंची और बिना देर किए घायल को जीएस हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया, जहां चिकित्सकों की निगरानी में उसका उपचार जारी है। पुलिस ने बताया कि घायल की हालत को देखते हुए प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसका इलाज जारी रखा गया है।
पुलिस ने घायल की पहचान कराने के लिए उसके पास मिले सुरागों के आधार पर जांच शुरू कर दी है। घायल के हाथ पर "रघुबीर कुमार" नाम गोदा हुआ मिला है, लेकिन उसके पास ऐसा कोई पहचान पत्र या दस्तावेज नहीं मिला, जिससे उसकी शिनाख्त हो सके। फिलहाल पुलिस आसपास के क्षेत्रों में पूछताछ करने के साथ-साथ विभिन्न माध्यमों से उसकी पहचान कराने का प्रयास कर रही है।
पुलिस ने जनसामान्य से अपील की है कि यदि किसी व्यक्ति को इस घायल के संबंध में कोई जानकारी हो या वह उसे पहचानता हो, तो तत्काल निकटतम पुलिस थाना अथवा संबंधित पुलिस अधिकारी को सूचना दें, ताकि उसके परिजनों तक सूचना पहुंचाकर आवश्यक सहायता उपलब्ध कराई जा सके। वहीं अज्ञात वाहन चालक की तलाश भी शुरू कर दी गई है और आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाली जा रही है।
Unknown Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Near Nizampur Underpass; Police Appeal for Identification
Hapur: A middle-aged man was seriously injured after being hit by an unidentified car near Tilak Hospital, close to the Nizampur Underpass, on Wednesday afternoon. Acting promptly on the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the injured man to GS Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His identity has not yet been established.
According to the police, the accident occurred at around 12:30 PM on July 15, 2026, when an unidentified car struck a man, estimated to be 40–45 years old, near the Nizampur Underpass. The driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, leaving the victim critically injured.
The police rushed to the spot upon receiving the information and admitted the injured man to GS Hospital for immediate medical treatment. Doctors are continuing his treatment, and his condition is being closely monitored.
During the preliminary inquiry, police found the name "Raghubir Kumar" tattooed on the victim's hand. However, no identity card or other documents were recovered from him, and his identity remains unknown.
The police have appealed to the public to help identify the injured man. Anyone who has information about him is requested to contact the nearest police station or the concerned police officer immediately so that his family can be informed. Meanwhile, efforts are also underway to trace the unidentified vehicle and driver involved in the hit-and-run case.
