हापुड़। शहर में लगातार लगने वाले ट्रैफिक जाम से लोगों को राहत दिलाने के लिए बुधवार को नगर कोतवाली प्रभारी निरीक्षक मनीष चौहान खुद सड़क पर उतर आए। पुलिस टीम के साथ उन्होंने शहर के सबसे व्यस्त तहसील चौराहे पर विशेष अभियान चलाकर यातायात व्यवस्था को दुरुस्त कराया। इस दौरान सड़क किनारे अव्यवस्थित ढंग से खड़े वाहनों को हटवाया गया और नियमों की अनदेखी करने वालों को कड़ी चेतावनी दी गई।

शहर में यातायात पुलिस द्वारा नियमित रूप से जाम की समस्या से निपटने के प्रयास किए जाते हैं, लेकिन बाजार क्षेत्र और प्रमुख चौराहों पर अतिक्रमण तथा अव्यवस्थित पार्किंग के कारण लोगों को आए दिन परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ता है। इसी को देखते हुए कोतवाली प्रभारी मनीष चौहान ने स्वयं मोर्चा संभालते हुए पुलिस कर्मियों के साथ तहसील चौराहे पर यातायात व्यवस्था का निरीक्षण किया और जाम हटवाने का अभियान चलाया।

अभियान के दौरान सड़क किनारे खड़ी मोटरसाइकिलों को हटवाया गया। वहीं सड़क पर अवैध रूप से खड़े ई-रिक्शा चालकों को फटकार लगाते हुए उन्हें निर्धारित स्थान पर वाहन खड़ा करने के निर्देश दिए गए। पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया कि सड़क पर अवैध पार्किंग और यातायात बाधित करने वालों के खिलाफ आगे भी कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।

कोतवाली प्रभारी मनीष चौहान ने वाहन चालकों से अपील की कि वे अपने वाहन सड़क पर खड़े न करें और यातायात नियमों का पालन करें, ताकि शहर को जाम की समस्या से राहत मिल सके। उन्होंने कहा कि आमजन की सुविधा सर्वोपरि है और यातायात व्यवस्था को बेहतर बनाए रखने के लिए पुलिस लगातार अभियान चलाती रहेगी।

स्थानीय लोगों ने भी पुलिस की इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि यदि इस तरह नियमित रूप से अभियान चलता रहा तो शहर की ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था में काफी सुधार देखने को मिलेगा।

Hapur SHO Manish Chauhan Takes Charge of Traffic Management Under Scorching Sun

Hapur: In an effort to provide relief from the city's recurring traffic congestion, Hapur Kotwali Station House Officer (SHO) Manish Chauhan personally took charge of traffic management on Wednesday. Accompanied by a police team, he launched a special traffic regulation drive at the busy Tehsil Chowk, ensuring smoother vehicle movement. During the operation, vehicles parked haphazardly along the roadside were removed, and violators were issued strict warnings.

Although the traffic police regularly conduct operations to tackle congestion, illegal encroachments and improper roadside parking in market areas and at major intersections continue to create problems for commuters. Keeping this in view, SHO Manish Chauhan personally monitored the traffic situation at Tehsil Chowk and supervised an intensive drive to clear the traffic bottlenecks.

As part of the campaign, motorcycles parked along the roadside were removed. Police also reprimanded e-rickshaw drivers who had parked their vehicles illegally on the road and instructed them to use designated parking areas. Officials made it clear that action against illegal parking and those obstructing traffic will continue in the future.

SHO Manish Chauhan appealed to motorists not to park their vehicles on the roadside and to follow traffic rules to help reduce congestion across the city. He emphasized that public convenience remains the top priority and assured that the police will continue conducting regular traffic enforcement drives to improve road conditions.

Local residents appreciated the initiative, saying that if such campaigns are carried out regularly, the city's traffic management system is likely to improve significantly.
