कुराना टोल पर भाकियू पदाधिकारी से अभद्रता पर बवाल

हापुड़। जनपद के कुराना टोल प्लाजा पर भारतीय किसान यूनियन (भाकियू) के एक पदाधिकारी के साथ कथित अभद्र व्यवहार किए जाने से संगठन के कार्यकर्ताओं में आक्रोश फैल गया। मामले की जानकारी मिलते ही भाकियू के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मनजीत चौधरी समर्थकों के साथ टोल प्लाजा पहुंचे और टोल कर्मचारियों के रवैये पर कड़ा विरोध जताया। इस दौरान कुछ समय के लिए टोल पर तनावपूर्ण स्थिति बनी रही और संगठन की ओर से विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया।

भाकियू पदाधिकारियों का आरोप था कि टोल प्लाजा पर उनके पदाधिकारी के साथ कर्मचारियों ने अनुचित व्यवहार किया, जिससे संगठन की गरिमा को ठेस पहुंची। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्ता मौके पर एकत्र हो गए और जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों से कार्रवाई की मांग करने लगे।

स्थिति को देखते हुए पुलिस प्रशासन भी मौके पर पहुंच गया। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने दोनों पक्षों से बातचीत कर माहौल शांत कराया। इसके बाद टोल प्रबंधन, पुलिस प्रशासन और भारतीय किसान यूनियन के पदाधिकारियों के बीच वार्ता हुई। बातचीत के दौरान टोल प्रबंधन की ओर से आश्वासन दिया गया कि भविष्य में भारतीय किसान यूनियन के किसी भी पदाधिकारी या कार्यकर्ता के साथ सम्मानजनक और शांतिपूर्ण व्यवहार किया जाएगा तथा ऐसी घटना की पुनरावृत्ति नहीं होने दी जाएगी।

राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मनजीत चौधरी ने कहा, "भारतीय किसान यूनियन हमेशा किसानों, मजदूरों और आम जनता के सम्मान की लड़ाई लोकतांत्रिक और शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से लड़ती आई है। हमारे किसी भी पदाधिकारी के साथ अभद्र व्यवहार किसी भी कीमत पर बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। आज हमें सूचना मिली कि हमारे पदाधिकारी के साथ टोल प्लाजा पर गलत व्यवहार किया गया।

इसके विरोध में हम मौके पर पहुंचे और संबंधित अधिकारियों व टोल प्रबंधन के समक्ष अपना पक्ष मजबूती से रखा। हमारा उद्देश्य किसी प्रकार का विवाद खड़ा करना नहीं था, बल्कि अपने कार्यकर्ताओं के सम्मान की रक्षा करना था। प्रशासन और टोल प्रबंधन ने हमारी बात गंभीरता से सुनी तथा भविष्य में भारतीय किसान यूनियन के किसी भी पदाधिकारी और कार्यकर्ता के साथ सम्मानजनक एवं शांतिपूर्ण व्यवहार किए जाने का आश्वासन दिया है। हमने भी संगठन की परंपरा के अनुरूप वार्ता के माध्यम से समाधान को प्राथमिकता दी है। यदि भविष्य में इस प्रकार की घटनाएं दोहराई गईं तो भारतीय किसान यूनियन किसानों के सम्मान के लिए लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से बड़ा आंदोलन करने के लिए बाध्य होगी।"

आश्वासन मिलने के बाद राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मनजीत चौधरी ने संगठन के पदाधिकारियों और कार्यकर्ताओं से शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से प्रदर्शन समाप्त करने की अपील की, जिसके बाद सभी लोग वापस लौट गए। वार्ता के बाद टोल प्लाजा पर स्थिति सामान्य हो गई।

Protest Erupts at Kurana Toll Plaza Over Alleged Misconduct with BKU Office Bearer; Issue Resolved After Talks Led by National President Manjeet Chaudhary

Hapur: Tension prevailed at Kurana Toll Plaza in Hapur district on Wednesday after an alleged incident of misbehavior with an office bearer of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) triggered strong protests from the organization. Upon receiving information about the incident, BKU National President Manjeet Chaudhary reached the toll plaza along with supporters and strongly objected to the conduct of the toll staff.

According to BKU leaders, one of the organization's office bearers was allegedly treated disrespectfully by toll employees, hurting the sentiments of the union. As news of the incident spread, several BKU workers gathered at the toll plaza and demanded appropriate action against those responsible.

Police officials reached the spot to prevent any escalation and initiated talks between the BKU representatives and the toll management. Following detailed discussions, both sides arrived at a mutual understanding. The toll management assured that all BKU office bearers and members would be treated with respect and courtesy in the future and that such an incident would not be repeated.

Speaking on the occasion, BKU National President Manjeet Chaudhary said: "The Bharatiya Kisan Union has always fought for the rights and dignity of farmers, workers, and common citizens through peaceful and democratic means. We cannot tolerate any disrespect towards our office bearers. As soon as we learned about the alleged misconduct at Kurana Toll Plaza, we reached the site to register our protest and present our concerns before the toll management and the administration.

Our objective was not to create confrontation but to ensure that the dignity of our organization and its members is protected. We appreciate that the police administration and the toll authorities listened to our concerns and assured us that BKU members will be treated with respect in the future. In keeping with our tradition, we chose dialogue over conflict. However, if such incidents are repeated, the Bharatiya Kisan Union will be compelled to launch a stronger democratic agitation to safeguard the dignity of farmers and its office bearers."

After receiving the assurance, Manjeet Chaudhary appealed to BKU members to maintain peace and end the protest. The workers dispersed peacefully, and normalcy was restored at the toll plaza following the successful talks.
