हापुड़। जनपद के एल.एन. पब्लिक स्कूल में बुधवार को मेरठ जोन की 43वीं अंतर्जनपदीय पुलिस (महिला/पुरुष) बैडमिंटन एवं टेबल टेनिस प्रतियोगिता-2026 का भव्य शुभारंभ किया गया। मुख्य विकास अधिकारी श्रुति शर्मा एवं पुलिस अधीक्षक कुंवर ज्ञानंजय सिंह ने संयुक्त रूप से परेड की सलामी लेकर प्रतियोगिता का उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर विभिन्न जनपदों से पहुंचे महिला एवं पुरुष खिलाड़ियों ने आकर्षक मार्च पास्ट प्रस्तुत किया, जिसे उपस्थित अधिकारियों ने सराहा।

मुख्य विकास अधिकारी और पुलिस अधीक्षक ने खिलाड़ियों से परिचय प्राप्त करते हुए उन्हें प्रतियोगिता के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं। उन्होंने कहा कि खेल केवल जीत-हार का माध्यम नहीं, बल्कि अनुशासन, समर्पण, टीम भावना और स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा का प्रतीक हैं। खिलाड़ियों को पूरे अनुशासन के साथ खेल भावना बनाए रखते हुए अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया।

पुलिस अधीक्षक कुंवर ज्ञानंजय सिंह ने कहा कि खेलकूद पुलिस कर्मियों के शारीरिक एवं मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाने के साथ-साथ आपसी समन्वय और कार्यक्षमता को भी मजबूत करते हैं। उन्होंने सभी प्रतिभागियों से निष्पक्ष खेल और अनुशासन का पालन करने की अपील की।

उद्घाटन समारोह के दौरान प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों एवं अधिकारियों में उत्साह का माहौल रहा। आयोजन समिति ने सभी प्रतिभागियों के लिए आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं सुनिश्चित कीं। प्रतियोगिता में मेरठ जोन के विभिन्न जनपदों की महिला एवं पुरुष पुलिस टीमें बैडमिंटन और टेबल टेनिस की विभिन्न स्पर्धाओं में अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करेंगी।

43rd Inter-District Police Badminton and Table Tennis Championship Inaugurated in Hapur

Hapur: The 43rd Inter-District Police (Men's and Women's) Badminton and Table Tennis Championship 2026 of the Meerut Zone was inaugurated with great enthusiasm on Wednesday at L.N. Public School in Hapur. The event was jointly inaugurated by Chief Development Officer (CDO) Shruti Sharma and Superintendent of Police (SP) Kunwar Gyananjay Singh, who formally opened the championship by taking the salute during the ceremonial parade.

The opening ceremony featured an impressive march-past by male and female police players representing various districts of the Meerut Zone. The display was appreciated by the dignitaries and officials present at the event.

During the ceremony, the CDO and the Superintendent of Police interacted with the participants and extended their best wishes for the competition. They emphasized that sports are not merely about winning or losing but also represent discipline, dedication, teamwork, and healthy competition. The players were encouraged to maintain the true spirit of sportsmanship while giving their best performances throughout the tournament.

SP Kunwar Gyananjay Singh said that sports play a vital role in improving the physical and mental well-being of police personnel while also strengthening coordination, teamwork, and overall efficiency within the force. He urged all participants to compete fairly and uphold discipline during the championship.

The inaugural ceremony witnessed an atmosphere of excitement among players and officials. The organizing committee ensured that all necessary arrangements were made for the participants. Teams of male and female police personnel from various districts of the Meerut Zone will compete in different badminton and table tennis events, showcasing their sporting talent throughout the tournament.
