स्कूल जा रहे बच्चों पर बंदरों का हमला, दौड़कर बचाई जान बाल-बाल बची कई मासूमों की जान

हापुड़। शहर के मोहल्ला कृष्णा नगर में सोमवार सुबह उस समय अफरा-तफरी मच गई, जब स्कूल जा रहे बच्चों पर बंदरों के झुंड ने अचानक हमला कर दिया। बंदरों को अपनी ओर आते देख बच्चे जान बचाने के लिए इधर-उधर भागने लगे। बच्चों की चीख-पुकार सुनकर आसपास के लोग घरों से बाहर निकल आए और किसी तरह बंदरों को भगाकर बच्चों को सुरक्षित बचाया। गनीमत रही कि इस दौरान कोई बच्चा गंभीर रूप से घायल नहीं हुआ, लेकिन घटना के बाद बच्चों और उनके अभिभावकों में दहशत का माहौल है।

स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि कृष्णा नगर में पिछले काफी समय से बंदरों का आतंक बना हुआ है। सुबह और शाम के समय बंदरों के झुंड सड़कों, गलियों और मकानों की छतों पर घूमते रहते हैं। राहगीरों, महिलाओं और स्कूली बच्चों को देखते ही बंदर झपट्टा मार देते हैं, जिससे लोग भय के साये में जीने को मजबूर हैं।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार सोमवार सुबह बच्चे स्कूल के लिए निकले ही थे कि अचानक बंदर उनके पीछे दौड़ पड़ा। घबराए बच्चे अपनी जान बचाने के लिए अलग-अलग दिशाओं में भागने लगे। कुछ बच्चे गिरते-गिरते बचे। मौके पर मौजूद लोगों ने शोर मचाकर बंदरों को भगाया, जिसके बाद स्थिति सामान्य हो सकी। लोगों का कहना है कि यदि समय रहते आसपास के लोग मदद के लिए नहीं पहुंचते तो बड़ा हादसा हो सकता था।

मोहल्लेवासियों का आरोप है कि बंदरों के आतंक की शिकायत कई बार वार्ड सभासद, नगर पालिका और वन विभाग से की जा चुकी है, लेकिन अब तक कोई प्रभावी कार्रवाई नहीं की गई। बंदर आए दिन घरों में घुसकर खाद्य सामग्री उठा ले जाते हैं, छतों पर रखे सामान को नुकसान पहुंचाते हैं और लोगों पर हमला कर देते हैं। इसके चलते बुजुर्ग, महिलाएं और छोटे बच्चे सबसे अधिक परेशान हैं।

स्थानीय नागरिकों ने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि बंदरों को तत्काल पकड़कर सुरक्षित स्थान पर छोड़ा जाए। उनका कहना है कि यदि जल्द कार्रवाई नहीं हुई तो भविष्य में कोई बड़ा हादसा होने से इनकार नहीं किया जा सकता।

नगर पालिका परिषद हापुड़ के अधिशासी अधिकारी संजय कुमार मिश्रा ने बताया कि बंदरों को पकड़ने के लिए आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जा रही है। जल्द ही उन्हें पकड़कर उचित स्थान पर छोड़ा जाएगा, ताकि शहरवासियों को इस समस्या से राहत मिल सके।

Monkey Troop Attacks School Children in Hapur, Locals Rush to Rescue; Major Mishap Averted

Hapur: Panic gripped Krishna Nagar locality in Hapur city on Monday morning after a troop of monkeys suddenly attacked children on their way to school. Terrified children ran in different directions to save themselves. Hearing their screams, local residents rushed out of their homes, drove the monkeys away, and safely rescued the children. Fortunately, no child sustained serious injuries, but the incident left both students and their parents shaken.

Residents said that the monkey menace has been a persistent problem in Krishna Nagar for quite some time. Groups of monkeys frequently roam the streets, lanes, and rooftops during the morning and evening hours. They often charge at pedestrians, women, and schoolchildren, creating an atmosphere of fear in the neighborhood.

According to eyewitnesses, the children had just left for school when a monkey suddenly chased them. Frightened, the children scattered in different directions to escape. Some narrowly avoided falling while running. People nearby raised an alarm and managed to chase the monkeys away, preventing what could have turned into a serious accident.

Local residents alleged that they have repeatedly complained about the monkey menace to the ward councillor, the Municipal Council, and the Forest Department, but no effective action has been taken so far. They claimed that monkeys frequently enter houses, steal food items, damage household belongings kept on rooftops, and attack residents. Elderly people, women, and young children are said to be the worst affected.

Residents have urged the administration to immediately capture the monkeys and relocate them to a safe habitat. They warned that if prompt action is not taken, a major accident could occur in the future.

Hapur Municipal Council Executive Officer Sanjay Kumar Mishra said that the necessary process to capture the monkeys has already been initiated. He assured that they would soon be relocated to an appropriate location to provide relief to city residents from the ongoing menace.
