हापुड़। उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य महिला आयोग की सदस्य डॉ. हिमानी अग्रवाल ने बुधवार को मेरठ रोड स्थित सिंचाई विभाग गेस्ट हाउस में आयोजित जनसुनवाई के दौरान महिला उत्पीड़न से जुड़े मामलों में पुलिस और प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों को त्वरित एवं प्रभावी कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि महिलाओं की शिकायतों के निस्तारण में किसी भी स्तर पर लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी और प्रत्येक पीड़िता को समयबद्ध न्याय दिलाना प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए।

जनसुनवाई के दौरान जिले की विभिन्न तहसीलों और थाना क्षेत्रों से आईं 15 पीड़ित महिलाओं ने अपनी समस्याएं आयोग के समक्ष रखीं। इनमें पारिवारिक विवाद, दहेज उत्पीड़न, मारपीट, छेड़छाड़ तथा घरेलू हिंसा से जुड़े मामले प्रमुख रहे। डॉ. हिमानी अग्रवाल ने प्रत्येक मामले की गंभीरता से सुनवाई करते हुए संबंधित थाना प्रभारियों और अधिकारियों को तत्काल आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने तथा पीड़ित महिलाओं को शीघ्र राहत उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिए।

उन्होंने अधिकारियों से कहा कि महिला सुरक्षा और सम्मान सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकताओं में शामिल है। ऐसे में महिला उत्पीड़न के मामलों में संवेदनशीलता के साथ कार्रवाई करते हुए दोषियों के विरुद्ध विधिक कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाए। साथ ही महिलाओं को शासन की विभिन्न कल्याणकारी योजनाओं और सहायता सेवाओं का भी लाभ दिलाया जाए।

जनसुनवाई के दौरान क्षेत्राधिकारी पिलखुआ, अपर उप जिलाधिकारी, तहसीलदार हापुड़, मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी, जिला प्रोबेशन अधिकारी, जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी, जिला दिव्यांगजन सशक्तिकरण अधिकारी, जिला पिछड़ा वर्ग कल्याण अधिकारी, महिला थाना प्रभारी सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

कार्यक्रम में जिला प्रोबेशन कार्यालय से संरक्षण अधिकारी अमित कुमार, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता रिंकू सिंह, वन स्टॉप सेंटर प्रभारी सोनिया, जिला समन्वयक नेहा त्यागी सहित अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी भी उपस्थित रहे।

UP State Women's Commission Hears 15 Cases in Hapur, Orders Immediate Action on Complaints

Hapur, July 22: Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission Member Dr. Himani Agrawal chaired a public grievance hearing (Jan Sunwai) at the Irrigation Department Guest House on Meerut Road, Hapur, on Wednesday. The hearing focused on providing speedy justice to women facing harassment and violence.

A total of 15 complaints were heard during the session. The cases primarily involved domestic disputes, dowry harassment, physical assault, molestation, and other forms of violence against women. After hearing each case, Dr. Agrawal directed the concerned police station in-charges and officials to take immediate legal action and ensure timely relief for the victims.

She emphasized that women's safety and dignity remain a top priority and instructed officials to handle every complaint with sensitivity and seriousness. She also directed the administration to ensure that eligible women receive the benefits of government welfare schemes and support services.

The hearing was attended by the Circle Officer (Pilkhuwa), Additional Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar, Chief Medical Officer, District Probation Officer, Basic Education Officer, District Disability Empowerment Officer, Backward Class Welfare Officer, Women Police Station In-charge, and other district officials.

Officials from the District Probation Office, including Protection Officer Amit Kumar, Social Worker Rinku Singh, One Stop Centre In-charge Sonia, District Coordinator Neha Tyagi, and other staff members, were also present during the programme.
