बरसात में करंट का खतरा! जर्जर बिजली पोलों पर फूटा जनाक्रोश

पिलखुवा। बरसात के मौसम में शहर के विभिन्न इलाकों में जलभराव के बीच लोहे के बिजली पोलों में करंट उतरने की आशंका को लेकर जनप्रतिनिधियों ने विद्युत विभाग और नगर पालिका का ध्यान गंभीर खतरे की ओर आकर्षित किया है। बुधवार को वार्ड संख्या-17 के सभासद चौधरी प्रदीप सिंह ने स्थानीय नागरिकों के साथ विद्युत विभाग के अवर अभियंता मनीष यादव और नगर पालिका परिषद के अधिशासी अधिकारी इंद्रपाल सिंह को ज्ञापन सौंपते हुए शहर के सभी जर्जर लोहे के बिजली पोलों को सुरक्षित करने तथा तत्काल सुरक्षा इंतजाम कराने की मांग उठाई।

सभासद चौधरी प्रदीप सिंह ने कहा कि पिलखुवा के कई मोहल्लों में बारिश के दौरान लंबे समय तक जलभराव बना रहता है। ऐसे में पुराने लोहे के बिजली पोलों, क्षतिग्रस्त विद्युत लाइनों और अर्थिंग व्यवस्था में कमी के कारण करंट उतरने का खतरा लगातार बना रहता है। इससे राहगीरों, स्कूली बच्चों, महिलाओं और बुजुर्गों की जान जोखिम में पड़ सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि समय रहते विभाग ने ठोस कदम नहीं उठाए तो किसी भी दिन बड़ा हादसा हो सकता है, जिसकी पूरी जिम्मेदारी संबंधित विभाग की होगी।

उन्होंने ज्ञापन में मांग की कि शहर के सभी लोहे के बिजली पोलों पर इंसुलेटिव सेफ्टी कवर लगाए जाएं, जर्जर पोलों और क्षतिग्रस्त तारों का व्यापक सर्वे कराया जाए तथा जहां भी खतरा मिले वहां तत्काल मरम्मत और आवश्यक सुरक्षा कार्य किए जाएं। साथ ही बरसात के दौरान संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों की विशेष निगरानी भी सुनिश्चित की जाए।

सभासद ने कहा कि जनहित से जुड़े इस मुद्दे को गंभीरता से लेते हुए विभाग को केवल कागजी कार्रवाई तक सीमित नहीं रहना चाहिए, बल्कि मौके पर जाकर वास्तविक स्थिति का आकलन कर शीघ्र समाधान करना चाहिए। शहरवासियों की सुरक्षा सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए।

अवर अभियंता मनीष यादव ने बताया कि सभासद द्वारा दिया गया ज्ञापन प्राप्त कर लिया गया है। विभाग की टीम संबंधित स्थानों का निरीक्षण करेगी और जहां भी सुरक्षा संबंधी कमियां मिलेंगी, वहां प्राथमिकता के आधार पर आवश्यक कार्रवाई कराई जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि बरसात के मौसम में विद्युत सुरक्षा विभाग की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकताओं में शामिल है और आमजन की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी जरूरी कदम उठाए जाएंगे।

ज्ञापन सौंपने के दौरान सभासद चौधरी प्रदीप सिंह के साथ बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय नागरिक एवं समर्थक भी मौजूद रहे। उन्होंने भी शहर में विद्युत सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मजबूत करने और संभावित दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए शीघ्र कार्रवाई की मांग की।

Public Representatives Raise Alarm Over Electric Shock Risk During Monsoon, Demand Safety Measures for Iron Power Poles

Pilkhuwa: Concern over the risk of electric shocks from iron electricity poles during the monsoon season was strongly raised in Pilkhuwa on Wednesday. Ward No. 17 Councillor Chaudhary Pradeep Singh, accompanied by local residents, submitted a memorandum to Junior Engineer Manish Yadav of the Electricity Department and Executive Officer Inderpal Singh of the Municipal Council, urging immediate safety measures across the city.

The councillor stated that several localities in Pilkhuwa remain waterlogged for long periods during heavy rainfall. In such conditions, old iron electricity poles, damaged power lines, and weak earthing systems pose a serious risk of electric current leakage, endangering pedestrians, children, senior citizens, and other residents.

He demanded the installation of insulating safety covers on all iron electricity poles, a comprehensive survey of damaged poles and electrical lines, and immediate repair work wherever hazardous conditions are identified. He also urged the authorities to closely monitor vulnerable areas throughout the rainy season to prevent accidents.

Junior Engineer Manish Yadav confirmed that the memorandum had been received and assured that departmental teams would inspect the reported locations. Necessary corrective measures would be taken on a priority basis wherever safety deficiencies are found. He emphasized that public safety remains the department's top priority during the monsoon.

Several local residents and supporters accompanied the councillor while submitting the memorandum and appealed to the authorities to strengthen electrical safety infrastructure to prevent any untoward incidents during the rainy season.
