हापुड़। भूजल संरक्षण और जल बचाने के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से बुधवार को 'जल सप्ताह' के अंतर्गत हापुड़ शहर में भव्य स्काउट-गाइड जागरूकता रैली निकाली गई। "जल है तो कल सुरक्षित है" थीम पर आयोजित इस रैली में विभिन्न विद्यालयों के करीब 300 स्काउट-गाइड छात्र-छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेकर आमजन को जल संरक्षण का संदेश दिया।

जिलाधिकारी के निर्देश एवं जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक डॉ. श्वेता पुठिया के निर्देशन में आयोजित रैली का शुभारंभ आर्य कन्या पाठशाला इंटर कॉलेज से किया गया। जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक डॉ. श्वेता पुठिया तथा विद्यालय की प्रभारी प्रधानाचार्या अर्चना गौतम ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रैली को रवाना किया। विद्यालय की बैंड पार्टी के साथ निकली रैली आकर्षण का केंद्र रही।

रैली आर्य कन्या पाठशाला इंटर कॉलेज से प्रारंभ होकर पक्का बाग चौराहा होते हुए नगर पालिका प्रांगण तक पहुंची। इस दौरान छात्र-छात्राओं ने हाथों में जल संरक्षण से जुड़े संदेश लिखी तख्तियां लेकर "जल ही जीवन है", "जल है तो कल है", "पानी बचाओ, भविष्य बचाओ" जैसे प्रेरक नारों के माध्यम से लोगों को जल की प्रत्येक बूंद का महत्व समझाया। रैली के गुजरने वाले मार्गों पर लोगों ने विद्यार्थियों के उत्साह की सराहना की।

कार्यक्रम में आर्य कन्या पाठशाला इंटर कॉलेज, टैगोर शिक्षा सदन इंटर कॉलेज, रामनिवास स्मारक बालिका इंटर कॉलेज, चौधरी ताराचंद जनता इंटर कॉलेज, श्री सरस्वती विद्यालय इंटर कॉलेज तथा दीवान इंटर कॉलेज, हापुड़ के स्काउट-गाइड छात्र-छात्राओं ने सहभागिता की।

रैली के सफल संचालन में जिला संगठन आयुक्त (स्काउट-गाइड) प्रकाश शर्मा, नीता कौशिक, स्वीटी वर्मा, राजकुमारी सहित सभी विद्यालयों के स्काउट मास्टर एवं गाइड कैप्टनों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही। कार्यक्रम का समापन नगर पालिका परिसर में जल संरक्षण का सामूहिक संकल्प दिलाकर किया गया। इस अवसर पर जल बचाने और भूजल स्तर को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए सभी से जिम्मेदारी निभाने का आह्वान किया गया।

300 Scout-Guide Students Lead Water Conservation Awareness Rally in Hapur

Hapur, July 22: As part of the 'Jal Saptah' (Water Week) campaign, a large-scale Scout-Guide awareness rally was organized in Hapur on Wednesday under the theme "Jal Hai To Kal Surakshit Hai" (If There Is Water, There Is a Secure Tomorrow) to spread awareness about groundwater conservation and the importance of saving water.

The rally was conducted under the directions of the District Magistrate and the supervision of District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Dr. Shweta Puthiya. The rally was flagged off from Arya Kanya Pathshala Inter College by Dr. Shweta Puthiya and the school's In-charge Principal Mrs. Archana Gautam.

Accompanied by the school band, nearly 300 Scout-Guide students from six educational institutions marched from Arya Kanya Pathshala Inter College through Pakka Bagh Chauraha to the Nagar Palika premises. Carrying placards with water conservation messages, the students raised slogans such as "Water is Life", "Save Water, Secure the Future," and "Jal Hai To Kal Hai," encouraging citizens to conserve every drop of water.

The participating institutions included Arya Kanya Pathshala Inter College, Tagore Shiksha Sadan Inter College, Ram Niwas Smarak Balika Inter College, Chaudhary Tarachand Janata Inter College, Shri Saraswati Vidyalaya Inter College, and Diwan Inter College.

The event was coordinated with the active support of District Organisation Commissioner (Scout-Guide) Prakash Sharma, Neeta Kaushik, Sweety Verma, Rajkumari, and Scout Masters and Guide Captains from the participating schools.

The programme concluded at the Nagar Palika premises, where all participants took a pledge to conserve water and promote sustainable use of groundwater, reinforcing the message that protecting water resources is essential for securing the future.
