गढ़मुक्तेश्वर। सावन माह में होने वाली कांवड़ यात्रा को सुरक्षित और सुचारु रूप से संपन्न कराने के लिए पुलिस और प्रशासन ने तैयारियां तेज कर दी हैं। इसी क्रम में हापुड़ और बुलंदशहर पुलिस अधिकारियों ने दोनों जिलों की सीमाओं का संयुक्त निरीक्षण कर सुरक्षा और यातायात प्रबंधों का जायजा लिया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान अधिकारियों ने गढ़, सिंभावली, स्याना और बीबीनगर सीमा क्षेत्रों के साथ-साथ गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे का भी दौरा किया। इस दौरान कांवड़ यात्रा के समय यातायात संचालन, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था, बैरिकेडिंग, डायवर्जन और पुलिस बल की तैनाती को लेकर विस्तृत समीक्षा की गई।

पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इस बार भारी वाहनों के लिए विशेष डायवर्जन योजना तैयार की जा रही है। इसके तहत बड़ी संख्या में ट्रकों और अन्य भारी वाहनों को गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे से गुजारा जाएगा, जिससे राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग और कांवड़ मार्गों पर यातायात का दबाव कम रहेगा।

पुलिस अधीक्षक ज्ञानंजय सिंह ने कहा कि श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा और निर्बाध यात्रा प्रशासन की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है। उन्होंने बताया कि गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे के वैकल्पिक मार्ग के रूप में उपलब्ध होने से इस वर्ष यातायात प्रबंधन पहले की तुलना में अधिक प्रभावी रहने की उम्मीद है।

प्रशासन का कहना है कि कांवड़ यात्रा शुरू होने से पहले सभी सुरक्षा और यातायात संबंधी तैयारियों को अंतिम रूप दिया जाएगा, ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को सुरक्षित और सुविधाजनक यात्रा का अनुभव मिल सके।

Ganga Expressway to Serve as Alternate Route During Kanwar Yatra

Garhmukteshwar: Police and administrative authorities have intensified preparations to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the upcoming Kanwar Yatra during the holy month of Shravan. As part of these efforts, senior police officials from Hapur and Bulandshahr jointly inspected the inter-district border areas and reviewed traffic and security arrangements.

The inspection covered border points near Garh, Simbhawali, Syana, and Bibinagar, along with a field visit to the Ganga Expressway. Officials assessed traffic management plans, security measures, barricading, diversion routes, and police deployment to ensure efficient movement during the pilgrimage.

Authorities said a special diversion plan is being prepared for heavy vehicles. Under this arrangement, a significant number of trucks and other commercial vehicles will be routed through the Ganga Expressway, helping reduce congestion on national highways and the designated Kanwar routes.

Superintendent of Police Gyananjay Singh stated that ensuring the safety of Kanwar pilgrims and maintaining smooth traffic flow are the administration's top priorities. He added that the availability of the Ganga Expressway as an alternate route is expected to make traffic management more effective compared to previous years.

Officials said all preparations are being finalized to ensure that the Kanwar Yatra is conducted in a peaceful, secure, and well-organized manner.
