हापुड़। देवलोक कॉलोनी स्थित श्री ज्योतिष कार्यालय में गुरुवार को अमर शहीद एवं महान क्रांतिकारी चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद की जयंती श्रद्धा और उत्साह के साथ मनाई गई। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन प्रेम प्रकाश मिश्रा और ज्योतिर्विद पंडित सुबोध पाण्डेय के नेतृत्व में किया गया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान उपस्थित लोगों ने चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण और पुष्प अर्पित कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। साथ ही उनके साहस, देशभक्ति और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में दिए गए योगदान को याद किया गया।

सभा को संबोधित करते हुए पंडित सुबोध पाण्डेय ने कहा कि चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद का जीवन राष्ट्र सेवा, साहस और बलिदान का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज़ाद के विचार और उनका संघर्ष आज भी युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत हैं तथा उनके आदर्शों को अपनाकर राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान दिया जा सकता है।

कार्यक्रम में वक्ताओं ने बताया कि चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद का जन्म 23 जुलाई 1906 को वर्तमान मध्य प्रदेश के अलीराजपुर जिले के भाबरा में हुआ था। स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के दौरान उन्होंने क्रांतिकारी गतिविधियों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाई और हिन्दुस्तान सोशलिस्ट रिपब्लिकन एसोसिएशन (HSRA) से जुड़कर अनेक साथियों के साथ अंग्रेजी शासन के खिलाफ संघर्ष किया।

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि 27 फरवरी 1931 को प्रयागराज के तत्कालीन अल्फ्रेड पार्क (वर्तमान चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद पार्क) में अंग्रेजों से घिर जाने पर उन्होंने आत्मसमर्पण करने के बजाय स्वयं को गोली मारकर अपने संकल्प को निभाया।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में उपस्थित लोगों ने राष्ट्रहित को सर्वोपरि रखने और शहीदों के आदर्शों पर चलने का संकल्प लिया। इस अवसर पर प्रेम प्रकाश मिश्रा, पंडित सुबोध पाण्डेय, प्रीति पाण्डेय सहित कई गणमान्य नागरिक मौजूद रहे।

Chandra Shekhar Azad Remembered on His Birth Anniversary; Tribute Meeting Held in Hapur

Hapur: A tribute program was organized on Thursday at Shri Jyotish Office in Devalok Colony to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad. The event was conducted under the leadership of Prem Prakash Mishra and astrologer Pandit Subodh Pandey.

Participants paid floral tributes to the portrait of Chandra Shekhar Azad and remembered his courage, patriotism, and invaluable contribution to India's freedom struggle.

Addressing the gathering, Pandit Subodh Pandey said that Azad's life remains a symbol of bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to the nation. He encouraged the younger generation to draw inspiration from the revolutionary's ideals and work towards nation-building.

Speakers highlighted that Chandra Shekhar Azad was born on 23 July 1906 in Bhabra, now in Madhya Pradesh's Alirajpur district. He later became a prominent member of the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA) and played a significant role in the Indian independence movement alongside several renowned revolutionaries.

The gathering also recalled that on 27 February 1931, surrounded by British forces at Alfred Park (now Chandrashekhar Azad Park) in Prayagraj, Azad chose to sacrifice his life rather than surrender.

The program concluded with attendees taking a pledge to uphold the values of patriotism and remember the sacrifices made by India's freedom fighters. Several local dignitaries and community members were present on the occasion.
