हापुड़। शहर के अर्जुन नगर में घोर लापरवाही का एक ऐसा मामला सामने आया है, जिसने हर किसी को झकझोर कर रख दिया। बिसलेरी की पानी की बोतल में तेजाब निकलने की कथित लापरवाही एक 22 वर्षीय युवती पर भारी पड़ गई। युवती ने बोतल को सामान्य पानी समझकर जैसे ही उससे घूंट भरा, उसकी तबीयत बिगड़ गई और वह दर्द से तड़प उठी। परिजन आनन-फानन में उसे अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे, जहां प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसकी गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए हायर सेंटर रेफर कर दिया गया। जहां पीड़ित परिवार युवति को उपचार के लिए मेरठ के आनंद हॉस्पिटल लेकर पहुंचा। फिलहाल युवती जिंदगी और मौत की जंग लड़ रही है, हालांकि चिकित्सकों के अनुसार उसकी हालत अब पहले से स्थिर है।

इस घटना ने यह बड़ा सवाल खड़ा कर दिया है कि आखिर कैसे पानी की बोतल में तेजाब जैसा खतरनाक रसायन पाया जा सकता है और वह आम लोगों की पहुंच तक कैसे पहुंच गया। यदि यही बोतल किसी छोटे बच्चे या अन्य व्यक्ति के हाथ लग जाती तो इससे और भी बड़ा हादसा हो सकता था।

इस पूरे घटनाक्रम में नगर कोतवाली पुलिस ने ताबड़तोड़ कार्यवाही की। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल और पूरे घटनाक्रम की गंभीरता से जांच की। पीड़ित पक्ष की तहरीर के आधार पर नगर कोतवाली में सुनार दुकानदार अनुज वर्मा तथा पानी की बोतल बेचने वाले एक दुकानदार के खिलाफ संबंधित धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया गया है। पुलिस दोनों की भूमिका की गहन जांच कर रही है और यह पता लगाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है कि पानी की बोतल में तेजाब कैसे पहुंचा और इस पूरे घटनाक्रम में किसकी कितनी जिम्मेदारी है।

घटना के बाद अर्जुन नगर सहित पूरे शहर में लोगों में भारी आक्रोश है। लोगों का कहना है कि पानी की बोतल में तेजाब निकलना न केवल घोर लापरवाही है, बल्कि यह सीधे-सीधे किसी की जान के साथ खिलवाड़ करने जैसा है। ऐसे मामलों में जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए ताकि भविष्य में कोई भी व्यक्ति इस तरह की खतरनाक लापरवाही करने का साहस न कर सके।
