हापुड़। आगामी निर्वाचन तैयारियों के तहत जिले में मतदान स्थलों का पुनर्गठन किया गया है। प्रत्येक मतदान स्थल पर अधिकतम 1200 मतदाताओं की सीमा को ध्यान में रखते हुए नई सूची जारी की गई है। इस प्रक्रिया के बाद जिले में मतदान स्थलों की कुल संख्या घटकर 1127 रह गई है।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी कविता मीना ने बताया कि मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी के निर्देशों के अनुरूप सभी विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में मतदान स्थलों की समीक्षा की गई। इसके आधार पर नए सिरे से सूची तैयार कर प्रकाशित कर दी गई है।

नई व्यवस्था के अनुसार धौलाना विधानसभा क्षेत्र में मतदान स्थलों की संख्या 334 से घटकर 332 हो गई है। गढ़मुक्तेश्वर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में पहले 400 मतदान स्थल थे, जो अब घटकर 382 रह गए हैं। वहीं हापुड़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र में कुल 413 मतदान स्थल निर्धारित किए गए हैं।

प्रशासन का कहना है कि इस पुनर्गठन का उद्देश्य मतदान प्रक्रिया को अधिक सुव्यवस्थित, सुगम और प्रभावी बनाना है, ताकि मतदाताओं को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जा सकें।

District Revises Polling Station List, Total Booths Reduced to 1,127

Hapur: As part of election preparedness, the district administration has reorganized polling stations based on the prescribed limit of a maximum of 1,200 voters per polling station. Following the revision, the total number of polling stations in the district has been reduced to 1,127, and the updated list has been released constituency-wise.

District Election Officer Kavita Meena said the exercise was carried out in accordance with the directions issued by the Chief Electoral Officer. After reviewing polling arrangements across all Assembly constituencies, a revised list of polling stations has been finalized and published.

Under the new arrangement, the number of polling stations in the Dhaulana Assembly constituency has decreased from 334 to 332. In the Garhmukteshwar Assembly constituency, the total has been reduced from 400 to 382. Meanwhile, the Hapur Assembly constituency will have 413 polling stations.

Officials said the reorganization is aimed at improving the efficiency of the polling process and ensuring better management and convenience for voters during elections.
