हापुड़। जिले के गांव झंडा मुर्शदपुर में काली नदी पर नए पुल के निर्माण की प्रक्रिया तेज हो गई है। उत्तर प्रदेश स्टेट ब्रिज कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड ने करीब 5.87 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से पुल बनाने के लिए निविदा प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। अधिकारियों के अनुसार निर्माण कार्य अगस्त माह में शुरू किए जाने की योजना है।

स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार मौजूदा पुल करीब तीन दशक पुराना है और समय के साथ इसकी स्थिति काफी जर्जर हो चुकी है। प्रतिदिन बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण और वाहन इसी मार्ग से गुजरते हैं, जिससे सुरक्षा को लेकर लगातार चिंता बनी रहती है। लंबे समय से क्षेत्रवासी नए पुल की मांग कर रहे थे।

नया पुल बनने के बाद हाफिजपुर, काठीखेड़ा, हरसिंहपुर, ताजपुर, मीरपुर कलां, हिमायूपुर, महमूदपुर, शानवी, हृदयपुर, करीमनगर, अहमदनगर और अयादनगर दक्षिण सहित कई गांवों के लोगों को सीधा लाभ मिलेगा। यह मार्ग आगे बुलंदशहर जिले के गुलावठी क्षेत्र को भी जोड़ता है, इसलिए इस पर यातायात का दबाव काफी अधिक रहता है।

अधिकारियों का कहना है कि पुल के निर्माण से आवागमन अधिक सुरक्षित और सुगम होगा तथा पुराने पुल से जुड़े संभावित हादसों का खतरा भी कम हो जाएगा।

परियोजना से जुड़े अधिकारियों के अनुसार जुलाई में टेंडर प्रक्रिया पूरी करने का लक्ष्य है। इसके बाद अगस्त में निर्माण कार्य शुरू किया जाएगा और लगभग आठ से दस महीने के भीतर परियोजना को पूरा करने का प्रयास किया जाएगा।

Hapur: The construction of a new bridge over the Kali River at Jhanda Murshadpur village is set to begin soon, with the Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited initiating the tender process for the project. The bridge will be built at an estimated cost of ₹5.87 crore, and construction is expected to commence in August.

Residents say the existing bridge is around 30 years old and has deteriorated significantly over time. As it serves as a key route for thousands of commuters and vehicles every day, concerns over safety have continued to grow. Local people had been demanding a new bridge for several years.

Once completed, the bridge will improve connectivity for villages including Hafizpur, Kathikheda, Harsinghpur, Tajpur, Mirpur Kalan, Himayupur, Mahmoodpur, Shanvi, Hridaypur, Karimnagar, Ahmadnagar, and Ayadnagar Dakshin. The route also connects with the Gulawathi area of Bulandshahr district, making it an important transportation corridor with heavy daily traffic.

Officials believe the new bridge will make travel safer and smoother while significantly reducing the risk of accidents associated with the aging structure.

According to project officials, the tender process is expected to be completed during July, after which construction will begin in August. The project is targeted for completion within approximately eight to ten months.
