गढ़मुक्तेश्वर। नगर में छोटे व्यापारियों के लिए जल्द ही एक व्यवस्थित वेंडिंग जोन विकसित किया जाएगा। इस परियोजना के तहत पर्यटन विभाग ने नगर पालिका को 24 आधुनिक कियोस्क उपलब्ध कराए हैं, जिन्हें तय स्थान पर स्थापित कर एक संगठित बाजार तैयार किया जाएगा। इस पहल का उद्देश्य स्थानीय रोजगार को बढ़ावा देने के साथ-साथ शहर की सुंदरता और पर्यटन आकर्षण को भी बेहतर बनाना है।

नगर पालिका की अधिशासी अधिकारी पवित्रा त्रिपाठी ने बताया कि कियोस्क प्राप्त हो चुके हैं और इनके लिए उपयुक्त स्थान पर वेंडिंग जोन विकसित किया जाएगा। सभी दुकानों को एक समान डिजाइन में स्थापित किया जाएगा, जिससे बाजार अधिक व्यवस्थित और आकर्षक दिखाई देगा।

उन्होंने बताया कि वेंडिंग जोन में दुकान प्राप्त करने के इच्छुक लोगों को पहले नगर पालिका में पंजीकरण कराना होगा। शासन के दिशा-निर्देशों और निर्धारित शुल्क के अनुसार पात्र आवेदकों को कियोस्क आवंटित किए जाएंगे।

पालिका का मानना है कि इस योजना से रेहड़ी-पटरी और छोटे कारोबारियों को सुरक्षित एवं स्थायी स्थान मिलेगा। साथ ही मुख्य बाजार में अतिक्रमण कम होगा, यातायात व्यवस्था बेहतर बनेगी और खरीदारी के लिए आने वाले लोगों को अधिक सुविधाजनक वातावरण मिलेगा।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार झोपड़ीनुमा शैली में तैयार किए गए ये कियोस्क स्थानीय संस्कृति और पर्यटन की पहचान को भी नया स्वरूप देंगे। नगर पालिका ने इच्छुक व्यापारियों से समय रहते आवेदन करने की अपील की है ताकि आवंटन प्रक्रिया नियमानुसार पूरी की जा सके। इस परियोजना से नगर के सौंदर्यीकरण के साथ-साथ स्थानीय रोजगार को भी नई गति मिलने की उम्मीद है।

Tourism Department Provides 24 Kiosks, Registration to Open for New Vending Zone

Garhmukteshwar: A new organized vending zone is set to be developed in the town to support small businesses and improve the city's appearance. As part of the initiative, the Tourism Department has provided 24 modern kiosks to the Municipal Council, which will be installed at a designated location to create a well-planned marketplace.

Municipal Executive Officer Pavitra Tripathi said the kiosks have already been received and a dedicated vending zone will soon be developed. The stalls will be installed in a uniform design to give the market a modern and organized look while enhancing the town's appeal for visitors.

She added that individuals interested in operating a kiosk will need to register with the Municipal Council. Shops will be allotted to eligible applicants in accordance with government guidelines and the prescribed rates.

The civic body believes the project will provide street vendors and small traders with a permanent and secure place to conduct business. It is also expected to reduce encroachment in the main market, improve traffic flow, and create a more convenient shopping environment for residents and tourists.

Officials said the hut-style kiosk design will reflect the region's local culture and add to its tourism appeal. Traders have been encouraged to complete their registration on time so that the allotment process can be carried out smoothly. The project is expected to enhance urban beautification while creating new livelihood opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
