शिवभक्तों की सुरक्षा के लिए बड़ा कदम, हापुड़ समेत चार जिलों में पुलिस का सुरक्षा कवच

हापुड़। श्रावण मास की कांवड़ यात्रा-2026 को सुरक्षित, शांतिपूर्ण और व्यवस्थित ढंग से संपन्न कराने के लिए मेरठ परिक्षेत्र पुलिस ने व्यापक सुरक्षा व्यवस्था लागू कर दी है। श्रद्धालुओं को यात्रा के दौरान तत्काल पुलिस सहायता उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से मेरठ परिक्षेत्र के चार जिलों—मेरठ, हापुड़, बुलंदशहर और बागपत में कुल 4 अस्थायी थाने और 58 अस्थायी पुलिस चौकियां स्थापित की गई हैं। इन सभी स्थानों पर पुलिस बल की तैनाती के साथ संचार, पेयजल, प्रकाश व्यवस्था, प्राथमिक उपचार और जनसहायता जैसी सुविधाएं भी उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी।

पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक मेरठ परिक्षेत्र कलानिधि नैथानी ने बताया कि इस बार कांवड़ यात्रा को देखते हुए सुरक्षा तैयारियां श्रावण मास शुरू होने से चार दिन पहले ही लागू कर दी गई हैं, ताकि यात्रा मार्गों और मेला क्षेत्रों में किसी भी प्रकार की अव्यवस्था न हो और श्रद्धालुओं को तत्काल सहायता मिल सके।

डीआईजी ने बताया कि कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने, भीड़ प्रबंधन को प्रभावी बनाने, किसी भी आपात स्थिति में तुरंत पुलिस प्रतिक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने तथा श्रद्धालुओं को त्वरित सहायता उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से इन अस्थायी थानों और चौकियों की स्थापना की गई है। सभी स्थानों पर आवश्यक पुलिस बल भी तैनात कर दिया गया है।

मेरठ जनपद में एक अस्थायी थाना और नौ चौकियां, बुलंदशहर में एक थाना और 17 चौकियां, बागपत में एक थाना और 11 चौकियां तथा हापुड़ जनपद में एक अस्थायी थाना और 21 अस्थायी पुलिस चौकियां स्थापित की गई हैं। हापुड़ में ब्रजघाट को अस्थायी थाना बनाया गया है, जबकि पुरानी चुंगी, टियाला, दतेड़ी गेट, जीएस पेट्रोल पंप, सोना पंप, बक्सर रेगुलेटर, स्याना बॉर्डर, गढ़चौपला, पलवाड़ा मोड़, दौताई, सदरपुर बैरियर समेत प्रमुख स्थानों पर चौकियां संचालित रहेंगी।

डीआईजी कलानिधि नैथानी ने निर्देश दिए हैं कि सभी अस्थायी थाना और चौकियां आमजन के लिए पूरी तरह सुगम हों। प्रत्येक चौकी पर सहायता केंद्र स्थापित किए जाएं, प्राथमिक उपचार की व्यवस्था रहे तथा क्यूआर कोड लगाए जाएं, जिससे श्रद्धालु मार्ग, निकटतम चिकित्सा सुविधा, शौचालय, पेयजल, भोजन और विश्राम स्थलों की जानकारी आसानी से प्राप्त कर सकें।

उन्होंने कहा कि सभी अस्थायी पुलिस इकाइयों का जीपीएस कोऑर्डिनेट्स के साथ चिन्हांकन किया गया है, जिससे कंट्रोल रूम और वरिष्ठ अधिकारी हर चौकी की लगातार निगरानी कर सकेंगे। पुलिस कर्मियों को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि वे अनुशासन बनाए रखें, श्रद्धालुओं के साथ शिष्ट व्यवहार करें, किसी भी सूचना पर तत्काल कार्रवाई करें तथा संदिग्ध गतिविधियों पर विशेष नजर रखें।

डीआईजी ने यह भी निर्देशित किया कि यदि कोई शिवभक्त यात्रा के दौरान बीमार या घायल होता है तो उसे तुरंत प्राथमिक उपचार उपलब्ध कराया जाए और आवश्यकता पड़ने पर अस्पताल पहुंचाया जाए। साथ ही पुलिसकर्मी एंबुलेंस, अग्निशमन विभाग और अन्य आपातकालीन सेवाओं के साथ लगातार समन्वय बनाए रखें, ताकि किसी भी स्थिति में तत्काल राहत उपलब्ध कराई जा सके।

Meerut Range Sets Up 4 Temporary Police Stations, 58 Checkposts to Ensure Safe Kanwar Yatra 2026

Hapur: In a major security initiative for the upcoming Kanwar Yatra 2026, the Meerut Range Police has established four temporary police stations and 58 temporary police checkposts across the districts of Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr and Baghpat to ensure a safe, peaceful and well-managed pilgrimage for millions of devotees.

Meerut Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Kalanidhi Naithani said that the security arrangements have been activated four days before the beginning of the holy month of Shravan, allowing police to provide prompt assistance to Kanwariyas throughout the pilgrimage routes and fair areas.

According to the DIG, the temporary police units have been created to strengthen law and order, improve crowd management, ensure rapid emergency response and provide immediate assistance to devotees during the annual pilgrimage.

Under the security plan, Meerut has one temporary police station and nine checkposts, Bulandshahr one police station and 17 checkposts, Baghpat one police station and 11 checkposts, while Hapur has one temporary police station at Brijghat and 21 temporary police checkposts deployed along key Kanwar routes.

All temporary police units have been equipped with adequate police personnel, communication systems, electricity, drinking water, lighting, furniture, first-aid facilities and public assistance centres. The locations have also been geo-tagged with GPS coordinates to enable real-time monitoring by the control room and senior police officers.

DIG Naithani has instructed officers to ensure that every temporary police station remains visitor-friendly. QR codes will be installed to help devotees access route maps and information about nearby hospitals, toilets, drinking water points, food stalls and rest areas. Police personnel have also been directed to respond immediately to emergencies, maintain discipline, assist devotees courteously and remain vigilant against any suspicious activity.

The DIG further directed that any sick or injured devotee should receive immediate medical assistance and, if necessary, be shifted to the nearest hospital without delay. Coordination with ambulance services, the fire department and other emergency agencies has also been strengthened to ensure a smooth and secure Kanwar Yatra 2026.
