हापुड़। स्कूली बच्चों की सुरक्षा को लेकर परिवहन विभाग ने जिले में बिना वैध फिटनेस और परमिट के संचालित हो रहे स्कूल वाहनों के खिलाफ सख्त अभियान छेड़ दिया है। गुरुवार को 'मिशन सेफ फ्यूचर' अभियान के तहत परिवहन विभाग की टीम ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सघन चेकिंग करते हुए बिना फिटनेस संचालित मिले कई स्कूली वाहनों को पकड़कर संबंधित थानों में बंद करा दिया। वहीं पूर्व में ऐसे आठ स्कूल वाहनों के पंजीयन प्रमाण पत्र (आरसी) भी निलंबित किए जा चुके हैं।

परिवहन विभाग की कार्रवाई से वाहन संचालकों में हड़कंप मच गया। जांच के दौरान जिन वाहनों की फिटनेस और परमिट की अवधि समाप्त मिली, उनके खिलाफ मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के तहत कार्रवाई की गई। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि बच्चों की सुरक्षा के साथ किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी और नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहन संचालकों पर आगे भी लगातार कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।

परिवहन अधिकारियों के अनुसार कई स्कूल वाहन लंबे समय से बिना वैध फिटनेस के सड़कों पर दौड़ रहे थे। ऐसे वाहनों की तकनीकी स्थिति भी सुरक्षा मानकों के अनुरूप नहीं पाई गई। दुर्घटना की आशंका को देखते हुए इन वाहनों का संचालन तत्काल बंद कराया गया और उन्हें संबंधित थानों में खड़ा करा दिया गया।

विभाग का कहना है कि जुलाई माह के प्रथम सप्ताह में पूरे जिले में विशेष अभियान चलाकर प्रत्येक स्कूल वाहन की फिटनेस, परमिट, बीमा, प्रदूषण प्रमाण पत्र, अग्निशमन यंत्र, फर्स्ट एड बॉक्स, स्पीड गवर्नर सहित अन्य सुरक्षा मानकों की भी जांच की जाएगी। किसी भी प्रकार की कमी मिलने पर कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

परिवहन विभाग ने सभी विद्यालय प्रबंधनों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि बिना वैध दस्तावेज वाले किसी भी वाहन को बच्चों के परिवहन में न लगाया जाए। साथ ही अभिभावकों से भी अपील की गई है कि वे अपने बच्चों को केवल उन्हीं वाहनों से स्कूल भेजें जिनकी फिटनेस और अन्य सभी आवश्यक दस्तावेज पूरी तरह वैध हों।

एआरटीओ रमेश चौबे ने कहा कि 'मिशन सेफ फ्यूचर' अभियान तब तक जारी रहेगा, जब तक जिले में संचालित सभी स्कूल वाहन सुरक्षा मानकों का पूर्ण पालन नहीं करने लगते। बच्चों की सुरक्षा सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है और इसमें किसी भी स्तर पर समझौता नहीं किया जाएगा।

School Vehicles Without Fitness Certificates Seized, Parked at Police Stations; Registration of Eight Vehicles Suspended

Hapur: The Transport Department has intensified its crackdown on school vehicles operating without valid fitness certificates and permits as part of the "Mission Safe Future" campaign to ensure the safety of school children. During a special enforcement drive conducted on Thursday, several school vehicles found running without valid fitness certificates were seized and parked at the respective police stations. Earlier, the Registration Certificates (RCs) of eight such school vehicles had also been suspended.

The action created panic among vehicle operators across the district.

Officials inspected school vehicles at multiple locations and took strict action against those operating in violation of the Motor Vehicles Act. Authorities made it clear that no compromise would be made on the safety of school children and that stringent enforcement would continue against violators.

According to transport officials, several school vehicles had been operating even after the expiry of their fitness certificates and permits. Since such vehicles pose a serious risk due to possible mechanical defects, they were immediately taken off the roads and impounded at nearby police stations.

The department stated that a district-wide inspection drive will continue throughout the first week of July. During the campaign, officials will verify the validity of fitness certificates, permits, insurance, pollution certificates, speed governors, fire extinguishers, first-aid boxes, and other mandatory safety requirements in all school vehicles.

School managements have also been directed not to allow any vehicle with expired fitness certificates, permits, or other mandatory documents to transport students. Parents have been urged to ensure that their children travel only in school vehicles that fully comply with all legal and safety requirements.

Transport Department officials emphasized that "Mission Safe Future" is not merely an enforcement campaign but also a public awareness initiative aimed at protecting children's lives. The campaign will continue until every school vehicle operating in the district complies with all prescribed safety standards.
