हापुड़। गढ़मुक्तेश्वर कोतवाली में तैनात दो उपनिरीक्षकों और एक सिपाही का वर्दी में कथित तौर पर शराब पार्टी करते हुए फोटो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होने के बाद पुलिस विभाग में हड़कंप मच गया। मामला पुलिस अधीक्षक के संज्ञान में पहुंचते ही तीनों पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए उन्हें लाइन हाजिर कर दिया गया। वहीं पूरे प्रकरण को लेकर पुलिस महकमे में भी चर्चा का माहौल बना हुआ है।

शुक्रवार को सोशल मीडिया पर एक फोटो तेजी से वायरल हुआ, जिसमें गढ़मुक्तेश्वर कोतवाली में तैनात उपनिरीक्षक गौरव कुमार, उपनिरीक्षक अजय कुमार और आरक्षी गोपाल चौधरी पुलिस की वर्दी में दिखाई दे रहे हैं। दावा किया जा रहा है कि यह फोटो गढ़-स्याना चौपला स्थित एक होटल का है, जहां तीनों पुलिसकर्मियों ने वर्दी में शराब पार्टी की थी। हालांकि फोटो की स्वतंत्र रूप से पुष्टि नहीं हो सकी है, लेकिन वायरल होने के बाद मामला पुलिस प्रशासन के संज्ञान में पहुंच गया।

फोटो वायरल होने के बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने पुलिस की कार्यशैली पर सवाल उठाते हुए मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग की। लोगों का कहना है कि पुलिस की वर्दी अनुशासन और कानून का प्रतीक होती है। ऐसे में यदि वर्दी पहनकर इस तरह का आचरण किया जाता है तो इससे पुलिस विभाग की छवि धूमिल होती है और आम जनता का भरोसा भी प्रभावित होता है।

मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक कुंवर ज्ञानंजय सिंह ने तत्काल प्रभाव से उपनिरीक्षक गौरव कुमार, उपनिरीक्षक अजय कुमार और आरक्षी गोपाल चौधरी को लाइन हाजिर करने के आदेश जारी कर दिए। विभागीय स्तर पर भी पूरे प्रकरण की जांच की जा रही है और जांच रिपोर्ट के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

पुलिस विभाग की ओर से जारी आधिकारिक जानकारी के अनुसार सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल फोटो में थाना गढ़मुक्तेश्वर पर तैनात उक्त तीनों पुलिसकर्मी वर्दी में शराब का सेवन करते दिखाई दे रहे हैं। मामला संज्ञान में आते ही तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए उन्हें लाइन हाजिर कर दिया गया।

एसपी कुंवर ज्ञानंजय सिंह ने कहा, "सोशल मीडिया पर एक फोटो वायरल हुआ है, जिसमें थाना गढ़मुक्तेश्वर पर तैनात उपनिरीक्षक गौरव कुमार, उपनिरीक्षक अजय कुमार एवं आरक्षी गोपाल चौधरी वर्दी में शराब का सेवन करते दिखाई दे रहे हैं। मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए तीनों पुलिसकर्मियों को तत्काल प्रभाव से लाइन हाजिर कर दिया गया है। जनपद के समस्त पुलिसकर्मियों को सचेत किया जाता है कि ऐसा कोई भी कृत्य न करें जिससे पुलिस विभाग की छवि धूमिल हो। यदि भविष्य में कोई भी पुलिसकर्मी इस प्रकार के अनुशासनहीन आचरण में लिप्त पाया गया तो उसके विरुद्ध जीरो टॉलरेंस नीति के तहत कड़ी विभागीय एवं दंडात्मक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।"

Uniformed Liquor Party Costs Three Hapur Cops Their Posts, SP Orders Immediate Line Attachment

Hapur: Two sub-inspectors and a constable posted at Garhmukteshwar Police Station in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district have been placed on line attachment after a photograph allegedly showing them consuming alcohol while in uniform went viral on social media.

The viral image, which circulated widely on Friday, reportedly features Sub-Inspector Gaurav Kumar, Sub-Inspector Ajay Kumar, and Constable Gopal Chaudhary in police uniform. According to claims circulating online, the photograph was taken at a hotel near the Garh–Syana Chaupala area, where the three policemen allegedly attended a liquor party. However, the authenticity of the photograph has not been independently verified.

Following the circulation of the image, local residents demanded a fair inquiry, stating that such conduct while wearing the police uniform damages the credibility and public image of the police force.

Taking serious note of the incident, Hapur Superintendent of Police (SP) Kunwar Gyananjay Singh ordered the immediate line attachment of all three personnel. A departmental inquiry has also been initiated, and further action will be taken based on the findings.

According to the official police statement, the viral photograph allegedly shows the three Garhmukteshwar Police Station personnel consuming alcohol while in uniform. As soon as the matter came to the notice of the police administration, disciplinary action was taken without delay.

SP Kunwar Gyananjay Singh said:

"A photograph has gone viral on social media showing Sub-Inspector Gaurav Kumar, Sub-Inspector Ajay Kumar, and Constable Gopal Chaudhary, posted at Garhmukteshwar Police Station, allegedly consuming alcohol while in police uniform. Taking the matter seriously, all three police personnel have been placed on immediate line attachment. All police personnel in the district have been strictly warned not to indulge in any act that tarnishes the image of the police force. Any such misconduct in the future will invite strict departmental and disciplinary action under the department's zero-tolerance policy."
