हापुड़। शहर में ओवरलोड वाहनों का संचालन लगातार सड़क सुरक्षा के लिए गंभीर चुनौती बना हुआ है। ताजा मामला मेरठ रोड फ्लाईओवर का है, जहां एक ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली में क्षमता से अधिक सामान लादे जाने के कारण उसका संतुलन अचानक बिगड़ गया। अत्यधिक भार के चलते ट्रैक्टर के अगले दोनों पहिए हवा में उठ गए, जिससे कुछ देर के लिए फ्लाईओवर पर अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया।

घटना के दौरान फ्लाईओवर से गुजर रहे दोपहिया और चारपहिया वाहन चालकों को अचानक अपनी गति धीमी करनी पड़ी। कई लोग संभावित हादसे की आशंका से रुक गए। आसपास मौजूद लोगों ने बताया कि यदि चालक समय रहते ट्रैक्टर पर नियंत्रण नहीं रखता तो बड़ा सड़क हादसा हो सकता था।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, ट्रॉली में निर्धारित क्षमता से कहीं अधिक भार लादा गया था। इसी वजह से चढ़ाई के दौरान ट्रैक्टर का संतुलन बिगड़ गया और आगे के पहिए ऊपर उठ गए। कुछ देर बाद चालक ने किसी तरह वाहन को संभाल लिया और आगे बढ़ गया।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि शहर में ओवरलोड ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉलियां और अन्य भारी वाहन अक्सर बिना किसी रोक-टोक के सड़कों पर दौड़ते नजर आते हैं, जिससे हर समय दुर्घटना का खतरा बना रहता है। लोगों ने मांग की है कि ऐसे वाहनों के खिलाफ नियमित अभियान चलाकर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए, ताकि भविष्य में किसी बड़े हादसे से बचा जा सके।

हालांकि इस घटना के बावजूद संबंधित ट्रैक्टर चालक के खिलाफ किसी प्रकार की कार्रवाई किए जाने की जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है।

Hapur: Overloaded vehicles continue to pose a serious threat to road safety in the city. A concerning incident was reported from the Meerut Road flyover, where an overloaded tractor-trolley lost its balance while climbing the flyover, causing its front wheels to lift off the ground.

The incident created panic among commuters as motorists and two-wheeler riders passing through the flyover slowed down or stopped to avoid a possible collision. Eyewitnesses said the tractor was carrying a load well beyond its permitted capacity, making it difficult for the driver to maintain control.

According to local residents, the excessive weight in the trolley shifted the vehicle's balance, causing the tractor's front end to rise suddenly. Fortunately, the driver managed to regain control before the situation turned into a major accident.

Residents alleged that overloaded tractor-trolleys and other heavy vehicles frequently ply on city roads without strict enforcement, putting the lives of commuters at risk. They urged the authorities to intensify inspections and take strict action against overloaded vehicles to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Despite the dangerous situation, no official action against the tractor driver was reported following the incident.
