हाथ जोड़ती रही युवती, थप्पड़ बरसाता रहा युवक; हापुड़ की सड़क पर शर्मनाक वारदात

हापुड़। एक ओर सरकार और पुलिस महिलाओं की सुरक्षा, सम्मान और सशक्तिकरण को लेकर लगातार अभियान चला रही हैं, वहीं दूसरी ओर समाज में कुछ लोग अब भी महिलाओं को कमजोर समझकर उनके सम्मान को सरेआम तार-तार करने से बाज नहीं आ रहे हैं। रविवार रात हापुड़ में ऐसा ही एक शर्मनाक मामला सामने आया, जहां एक युवक ने बीच सड़क पर एक युवती के साथ मारपीट की सारी हदें पार कर दीं। युवती हाथ जोड़कर रहम की भीख मांगती रही, लेकिन युवक का गुस्सा नहीं थमा। इतना ही नहीं, उसने सड़क से पत्थर उठाकर युवती को धमकाया। पूरी घटना का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होने के बाद लोगों में आक्रोश फैल गया है।

रविवार रात मेरठ रोड स्थित दीवान पब्लिक स्कूल के सामने न्यू आलोक कॉलोनी के बाहर यह घटना हुई। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, युवक लगातार युवती को थप्पड़ मार रहा था। युवती भयभीत होकर उसके सामने हाथ जोड़ती रही और उसे शांत होने की गुहार लगाती रही, लेकिन युवक ने उसकी एक नहीं सुनी। राहगीरों के सामने ही वह युवती पर हाथ उठाता रहा।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के मुताबिक, मारपीट के बाद भी युवक का गुस्सा शांत नहीं हुआ। उसने सड़क पर पत्थर तलाशना शुरू किया और एक बड़ा पत्थर उठाकर युवती की ओर बढ़ गया। वीडियो में युवक पत्थर दिखाकर युवती को डराता और धमकाता नजर आ रहा है। पत्थर देखकर युवती फिर से हाथ जोड़कर उससे रहम की अपील करने लगी, लेकिन युवक लगातार उसे डराने का प्रयास करता रहा।

इसी दौरान कॉलोनी में लोगों की आवाजाही बढ़ने लगी। आसपास मौजूद कुछ लोगों की नजर युवक पर पड़ी तो वह मौके से निकल गया। इस बीच किसी व्यक्ति ने पूरी घटना अपने मोबाइल फोन में रिकॉर्ड कर ली। वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होने के बाद लोगों ने आरोपी के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग उठाई है।

फिलहाल यह स्पष्ट नहीं हो सका है कि युवक और युवती के बीच क्या संबंध था और विवाद किस बात को लेकर हुआ। मामले में अभी तक पुलिस की ओर से कोई आधिकारिक बयान सामने नहीं आया है। हालांकि वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद लोगों का कहना है कि यदि पीड़िता शिकायत दर्ज कराती है या पुलिस वीडियो का स्वतः संज्ञान लेती है, तो आरोपी के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए।

महिलाओं की सुरक्षा और सम्मान को लेकर चल रहे तमाम अभियानों के बीच बीच सड़क पर हुई यह घटना कई सवाल खड़े कर रही है। सबसे बड़ा सवाल यही है कि जब एक युवती सार्वजनिक स्थान पर हाथ जोड़कर अपनी सुरक्षा की गुहार लगा रही थी, तब उसकी मदद के लिए कितने लोग आगे आए? वायरल वीडियो अब पुलिस कार्रवाई और समाज की संवेदनशीलता, दोनों की परीक्षा बन गया है।

Despite the woman folding her hands and pleading for mercy, the man repeatedly slapped her and later threatened her with a stone. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage.

The incident reportedly took place outside New Alok Colony, in front of Diwan Public School on Meerut Road. According to eyewitnesses, the accused repeatedly slapped the woman while she stood in fear, begging him to stop. Despite her repeated pleas, the man continued to assault her in full public view.

Eyewitnesses further claimed that the man's anger did not subside even after the assault. He allegedly began searching for a stone on the roadside, picked up a large rock, and advanced towards the woman. The viral video reportedly shows him brandishing the stone to intimidate and threaten her. Frightened by his actions, the woman once again folded her hands and pleaded with him for mercy.
