गौ माता को 'राष्ट्रमाता' घोषित करने की उठी मांग, गौ-तस्करी पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री के नाम सौंपा ज्ञापन

हापुड़। गौ संरक्षण, गौ-संवर्धन और गौ-तस्करी पर प्रभावी रोक लगाने की मांग को लेकर शुक्रवार को ब्रह्म समर्पित ब्राह्मण महासभा (भारत) के पदाधिकारियों एवं गौभक्तों ने उपजिलाधिकारी (एसडीएम) कार्यालय पहुंचकर मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के नाम पांच सूत्रीय ज्ञापन सौंपा। प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने गौ माता को 'राष्ट्रमाता' का दर्जा दिलाने, गौ-तस्करी पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाने तथा प्रदेश में संचालित गौशालाओं की व्यवस्थाओं को और अधिक सुदृढ़ करने की मांग उठाई।

ज्ञापन सौंपने पहुंचे प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने कहा कि सनातन संस्कृति में गौ माता को पूजनीय स्थान प्राप्त है और करोड़ों लोगों की धार्मिक आस्था गौ माता से जुड़ी हुई है। ऐसे में गौवंश की सुरक्षा और संरक्षण सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए। प्रतिनिधियों ने कहा कि प्रदेश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अब भी गौ-तस्करी एवं अवैध कटान की घटनाएं सामने आती रहती हैं, जिन पर कठोर कार्रवाई किए जाने की आवश्यकता है।

संगठन के पदाधिकारियों ने बताया कि परमपूज्य जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य श्री श्री 1008 अविमुक्तेश्वरानन्द सरस्वती महाराज द्वारा उत्तर प्रदेश के सभी 81 जनपदों एवं विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में 81 दिनों तक व्यापक गौ-रक्षा एवं गौ-संवर्धन जनजागरण अभियान चलाया गया, जिसका समापन शुक्रवार को राजधानी लखनऊ में हुआ। इसी अभियान के समर्थन में हापुड़ में भी गौभक्तों ने एकजुट होकर गौ संरक्षण के पक्ष में अपनी आवाज बुलंद की और प्रशासन के माध्यम से मुख्यमंत्री तक अपनी मांगें पहुंचाईं।

प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने ज्ञापन में मांग की कि उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार गौ माता को 'राष्ट्रमाता' घोषित करने संबंधी प्रस्ताव पारित कर केंद्र सरकार को संस्तुति भेजे। साथ ही प्रदेशभर में अवैध गौ-तस्करी और गौवंश के अवैध कटान पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाते हुए दोषियों के विरुद्ध कठोर कानूनी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाए।

ज्ञापन में यह भी कहा गया कि सड़कों, बाजारों और मुख्य चौराहों पर घूम रहे निराश्रित एवं बेसहारा गौवंश को सुरक्षित रूप से कांजी हाउस अथवा पंजीकृत गौशालाओं तक पहुंचाया जाए, ताकि सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर भी अंकुश लग सके और गौवंश को संरक्षण मिल सके। इसके अलावा प्रदेश की सभी सरकारी एवं गैर-सरकारी गौशालाओं में पर्याप्त चारे, स्वच्छ पेयजल, छाया, बारिश से बचाव के लिए शेड तथा नियमित पशु चिकित्सा की समुचित व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने की मांग भी उठाई गई।

प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने धार्मिक स्थलों, प्रमुख मार्गों एवं घनी आबादी वाले क्षेत्रों के आसपास खुले में मांस बिक्री और अवैध दुकानों पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाने की भी मांग की। उनका कहना था कि इससे धार्मिक भावनाओं का सम्मान होने के साथ-साथ कानून व्यवस्था भी बेहतर बनी रहेगी।

एसडीएम कार्यालय पहुंचे प्रतिनिधिमंडल में राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष पंडित नानक चंद शर्मा, विक्की शर्मा, पंडित अमरनाथ शर्मा, पंडित ब्रजनाथ मिश्रा, पंडित प्रेम प्रकाश मिश्रा, पंडित राजनाथ मिश्रा, पंडित के.सी. पाण्डेय, अजय पाण्डेय, डॉ. राजेश कुमार यादव, ज्योतिर्विद पंडित सुबोध पाण्डेय, श्याम सुंदर, ईश्वर चंद शर्मा, ओम प्रकाश शर्मा, सुबोध शास्त्री, पंडित मित्र प्रसाद काफ्ले, निरंजन शर्मा, पंडित मुरलीधर शर्मा, राहुल शर्मा, देवी प्रसाद तिवारी, भरत लाल शर्मा, निशांत शर्मा, सी. राज शर्मा, कपिल शर्मा तथा राहुल कुमार सहित बड़ी संख्या में गौभक्त एवं संगठन के पदाधिकारी मौजूद रहे। प्रशासन ने ज्ञापन प्राप्त कर उसे शासन तक भेजने का आश्वासन दिया।

Demand Raised to Declare Cow as 'Rashtra Mata'; Memorandum Submitted to Chief Minister Seeking Complete Ban on Cow Smuggling

Hapur: A delegation of office bearers, social activists, and devotees under the banner of Brahm Samarpit Brahmin Mahasabha (Bharat) submitted a five-point memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh through the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), demanding stronger measures for cow protection, welfare, and a complete ban on cow smuggling.

The delegation stated that the cow holds a sacred place in Sanatan culture and is revered by millions of people across the country. Keeping this deep religious faith and national interest in view, they urged the Uttar Pradesh Government to pass a resolution recommending that the Central Government grant the cow the status of "Rashtra Mata" (Mother of the Nation).

Speaking to the media, the organization's representatives said that Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Shri 1008 Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj recently completed an 81-day statewide awareness campaign on cow protection and conservation across all 81 districts and Assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh, culminating in Lucknow on July 24, 2026. Inspired by this campaign, cow devotees in Hapur also came together to express their support for cow protection.

The memorandum demanded strict action against illegal cow slaughter and cow smuggling across the state. The delegation urged the government to strengthen police surveillance, especially in border areas, and ensure stringent legal action against those involved in such activities.

Another key demand was the proper rehabilitation of stray and abandoned cattle wandering on roads, marketplaces, and public places. The memorandum requested that such cattle be safely shifted to government cattle shelters (Kanji Houses) or registered gaushalas to ensure their protection and reduce road accidents.

The organization also called for significant improvements in the management of government and private gaushalas by ensuring an adequate supply of fodder, clean drinking water, proper sheds for protection from extreme weather, and regular veterinary care for the animals.

In addition, the delegation sought a complete ban on open meat sales and illegal meat shops operating near religious places, major roads, and residential areas, stating that such steps would help maintain public sentiments and law and order.

The memorandum was submitted by a delegation led by Pandit Nanak Chand Sharma (National President). Other prominent members included Vicky Sharma, Pandit Amarnath Sharma, Pandit Brajnath Mishra, Pandit Prem Prakash Mishra, Pandit Rajnath Mishra, Pandit K.C. Pandey, Ajay Pandey, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Yadav, astrologer Pandit Subodh Pandey, Shyam Sundar, Ishwar Chand Sharma, Om Prakash Sharma, Subodh Shastri, Pandit Mitra Prasad Kafle, Niranjan Sharma, Pandit Murlidhar Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Devi Prasad Tiwari, Bharat Lal Sharma, Nishant Sharma, C. Raj Sharma, Kapil Sharma, Rahul Kumar, and several other supporters.

The SDM received the memorandum and assured the delegation that it would be forwarded to the Uttar Pradesh Government for appropriate consideration.
