हापुड़। कोतवाली हापुड़ क्षेत्र में दिल्ली रोड स्थित मेरिनो सेंचुरी के सामने गुरुवार को एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा हो गया। तेज रफ्तार ऑटो और कैंटर की आमने-सामने की टक्कर में एक व्यक्ति की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि ऑटो में सवार दो अन्य लोग घायल हो गए। हादसे के बाद घटनास्थल पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई और राहगीरों की भीड़ जुट गई।

सूचना मिलते ही कोतवाली पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से सभी घायलों को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल भिजवाया। हादसे में जान गंवाने वाले व्यक्ति के शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि ऑटो बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। हादसे के तुरंत बाद मेरिनो सेंचुरी प्रबंधन ने अपनी एंबुलेंस मौके पर भेजकर राहत कार्य में सहयोग किया, जिससे घायलों को बिना देरी अस्पताल पहुंचाया जा सका।

पुलिस ने दुर्घटनाग्रस्त वाहनों को सड़क से हटवाकर यातायात सुचारु कराया। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि हादसे के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है और जांच के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

One Killed, Five Injured in Head-On Collision Between Auto and Canter Truck in Hapur

Hapur: A tragic road accident occurred on Thursday near Merino Century on Delhi Road under Kotwali Hapur police station limits when an auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a canter truck. One person lost his life in the accident, while five others travelling in the auto sustained injuries.

After receiving information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. The deceased's body was taken into custody and sent for a post-mortem examination.

According to eyewitnesses, the impact of the collision was severe, leaving the auto-rickshaw badly damaged. Employees of Merino Century immediately arranged the company's ambulance, helping transport the injured to the hospital without delay.

Police cleared the damaged vehicles from the road to restore traffic flow and have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
