हापुड़। स्कूली बच्चों की सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देते हुए परिवहन विभाग ने जिले में 'मिशन सेफ फ्यूचर' अभियान के तहत स्कूल वाहनों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। अभियान के पहले ही दिन बिना फिटनेस और अपंजीकृत वाहन संचालित करने वालों पर शिकंजा कसते हुए चार स्कूल वाहनों पर कार्रवाई की गई। इनमें एक बिना फिटनेस और एक अपंजीकृत वाहन को पुलिस थाने में निरुद्ध कर दिया गया, जबकि बच्चों को लेकर जा रहे दो अन्य वाहनों का चालान किया गया।

अभियान का उद्देश्य ऐसे वाहनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करना है जिनकी फिटनेस अथवा परमिट की वैधता समाप्त हो चुकी है। साथ ही सभी स्कूल वाहनों की फिटनेस और परमिट शत-प्रतिशत सुनिश्चित कराना भी अभियान का प्रमुख लक्ष्य है।

रविवार को यात्री एवं मालकर अधिकारी प्रीति पाण्डेय ने विभिन्न विद्यालयों के वाहनों की जांच की। जांच के दौरान एक स्कूल वाहन बिना वैध फिटनेस प्रमाणपत्र के संचालित मिलता पाया गया, जबकि एक अन्य वाहन का पंजीकरण ही नहीं था। दोनों वाहनों को तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए संबंधित थाने में निरुद्ध करा दिया गया। इसके अलावा दो अन्य वाहनों में बच्चों के बैठे होने के बावजूद दस्तावेजों में कमियां मिलने पर उनका चालान किया गया।

परिवहन विभाग ने स्पष्ट किया है कि बच्चों की सुरक्षा से किसी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं किया जाएगा। जिन विद्यालयों के वाहन बिना वैध दस्तावेजों के सड़क पर दौड़ते मिले, उनके खिलाफ भी प्रशासनिक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

विभाग ने जिले के सभी विद्यालयों के प्रबंधकों और प्रधानाचार्यों से अपील की है कि वे अपने सभी स्कूल वाहनों की फिटनेस, परमिट, बीमा सहित अन्य आवश्यक दस्तावेजों को तत्काल दुरुस्त कराकर ही उनका संचालन कराएं। अन्यथा भविष्य में ऐसे वाहनों को जब्त करने के साथ संबंधित विद्यालय के विरुद्ध भी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

साथ ही अभिभावकों से भी अनुरोध किया गया है कि वे अपने बच्चों को केवल उन्हीं स्कूल वाहनों से भेजें जिनके सभी दस्तावेज पूर्ण और वैध हों। विभाग ने कहा कि अपूर्ण प्रपत्रों वाले वाहनों की सूची पहले भी सार्वजनिक की जा चुकी है और बच्चों की सुरक्षा को देखते हुए अभिभावक स्वयं भी सतर्क रहें।

Mission Safe Future: Major Crackdown on Unfit and Unregistered School Vehicles, Four Vehicles Booked in Hapur

Hapur: Prioritizing the safety of school children, the Transport Department has launched the "Mission Safe Future" campaign across the district, taking strict action against school vehicles operating without valid documents. On the very first day of the drive, action was taken against four school vehicles for violations related to fitness certificates and registration.

As part of the enforcement, one school vehicle operating without a valid fitness certificate and another unregistered vehicle were seized and impounded at the local police station. Additionally, two other vehicles carrying schoolchildren were fined (challaned) after officials found deficiencies in their documentation.

The campaign aims to ensure that all school vehicles have valid fitness certificates, permits, insurance, and other mandatory documents, while taking strict action against vehicles operating with expired or incomplete paperwork.

On Sunday, Passenger and Goods Tax Officer Preeti Pandey inspected vehicles belonging to various schools. During the inspection, one vehicle was found operating without a valid fitness certificate, while another was found to be unregistered. Both vehicles were immediately impounded. Two additional school vehicles transporting children were also penalized for documentation-related violations.

The Transport Department has made it clear that there will be no compromise on the safety of schoolchildren. Schools found operating vehicles without valid documents may also face administrative action.

The department has urged all school managements and principals in the district to ensure that every school vehicle is equipped with valid fitness certificates, permits, insurance, and all other mandatory documents before being put on the road. Officials warned that vehicles failing to meet these requirements could be seized, and the concerned schools may also face legal and administrative action.

Parents have also been advised to ensure that their children travel only in authorized school vehicles with complete and valid documentation. The department noted that a list of vehicles with incomplete documents has already been made public and appealed to parents to remain vigilant in the interest of their children's safety.
