हापुड़। श्रावण मास की कांवड़ यात्रा-2026 को सुरक्षित, सुव्यवस्थित और सुगम बनाने के लिए मेरठ परिक्षेत्र पुलिस ने इस बार व्यापक साइनेज प्लान तैयार किया है। पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक (डीआईजी) कलानिधि नैथानी के निर्देश पर मेरठ रेंज के चार जिलों मेरठ, हापुड़, बागपत और बुलंदशहर में कुल 476 स्थानों पर 1242 साइनेज (संकेत चिन्ह) लगाए जा रहे हैं। इन साइनेज के माध्यम से लाखों कांवड़ श्रद्धालुओं को यात्रा मार्ग, पार्किंग, चिकित्सा केंद्र, पुलिस सहायता केंद्र, डायवर्जन, पेयजल, शौचालय और अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाओं की सटीक जानकारी मिलेगी।

डीआईजी कलानिधि नैथानी ने बताया कि कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा और यातायात व्यवस्था को बेहतर बनाने के लिए सभी जिलों में पहले से चिन्हित स्थानों पर साइनेज लगाए जा रहे हैं। इन संकेतकों की मदद से श्रद्धालुओं को अपने गंतव्य तक पहुंचने में किसी प्रकार की परेशानी नहीं होगी और वाहन चालक भी वैकल्पिक मार्गों की जानकारी आसानी से प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।

मेरठ जिले में 135 स्थानों पर 325 साइनेज लगाए जाएंगे। बुलंदशहर में 131 स्थानों पर 288 साइनेज, बागपत में 100 स्थानों पर सर्वाधिक 425 साइनेज तथा हापुड़ जिले में 110 स्थानों पर 204 साइनेज स्थापित किए जाएंगे। इन सभी संकेतकों को इस प्रकार तैयार किया गया है कि श्रद्धालुओं को यात्रा मार्ग के दौरान हर आवश्यक सुविधा की जानकारी तत्काल मिल सके।

पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि साइनेज व्यवस्था से कांवड़ मार्गों पर भीड़ प्रबंधन बेहतर होगा, यातायात सुचारु रहेगा और आपातकालीन स्थिति में श्रद्धालुओं को पुलिस एवं चिकित्सा सहायता तक पहुंचने में समय नहीं लगेगा। इससे दुर्घटनाओं की संभावना भी कम होगी और यात्रा अधिक सुरक्षित बनेगी।

मेरठ परिक्षेत्र पुलिस ने सभी श्रद्धालुओं एवं आमजन से अपील की है कि यात्रा के दौरान साइनेज पर अंकित दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करें, यातायात नियमों का अनुपालन करें तथा पुलिस और प्रशासन का सहयोग करें। किसी भी आपात स्थिति में निकटतम पुलिस सहायता केंद्र अथवा हेल्पलाइन से संपर्क करें। पुलिस ने भरोसा दिलाया है कि कांवड़ यात्रा-2026 को शांतिपूर्ण, सुरक्षित और व्यवस्थित ढंग से संपन्न कराने के लिए सभी आवश्यक इंतजाम किए जा चुके हैं।

Meerut Range to Install 1,242 Signages for Safe and Hassle-Free Kanwar Yatra 2026

Hapur: To ensure a safe, smooth, and well-organized Kanwar Yatra 2026, the Meerut Range Police has prepared a comprehensive signage plan across the region. Acting on the directions of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Kalanidhi Naithani, a total of 1,242 signages will be installed at 476 strategic locations in the districts of Meerut, Hapur, Baghpat, and Bulandshahr.

The signages will provide clear information about Kanwar routes, diversion plans, parking areas, medical facilities, drinking water points, toilets, police assistance centres, emergency services, and other essential public amenities. The initiative aims to help devotees reach their destinations without confusion while ensuring smooth traffic movement throughout the pilgrimage.

According to the district-wise plan, Meerut will have 325 signages at 135 locations, Bulandshahr will get 288 signages at 131 locations, Baghpat will have the highest number with 425 signages at 100 locations, while Hapur will receive 204 signages at 110 locations.

DIG Kalanidhi Naithani said that the signage system has been designed to improve crowd management, reduce traffic congestion, and ensure quick access to emergency services during the annual pilgrimage. The initiative is expected to significantly enhance the safety and convenience of lakhs of Kanwar devotees.

Meerut Range Police has appealed to devotees and the general public to follow the directions displayed on the signages and cooperate with the police and civil administration. In case of any emergency, people have been advised to contact the nearest police assistance centre or the designated helpline. The police reiterated their commitment to conducting Kanwar Yatra 2026 in a peaceful, secure, and well-managed manner.
