धर्मशाला का लेंटर दुकानों पर गिरा, 50 साल पुरानी दुकान क्षतिग्रस्त; साजिश का आरोप, जांच शुरू

पिलखुवा (हापुड़)। पिलखुवा कोतवाली क्षेत्र के धोबी चौक में मंगलवार सुबह उस समय हड़कंप मच गया, जब एक पुरानी धर्मशाला में चल रहे निर्माण कार्य के दौरान भारी भरकम लेंटर अचानक पास की दुकानों पर आ गिरा। घटना में कई दुकानों को नुकसान पहुंचा, जबकि करीब 50 वर्ष पुरानी एक दुकान की छत पूरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई। घटना के बाद मौके पर व्यापारियों की भारी भीड़ जमा हो गई और उन्होंने निर्माण कार्य में लापरवाही तथा जानबूझकर दुकानें क्षतिग्रस्त करने का आरोप लगाया।
जानकारी के अनुसार, धर्मशाला परिसर से सटी चार से पांच दुकानों को लेकर न्यायालय में विवाद विचाराधीन है। दुकानदारों का कहना है कि उन्होंने न्यायालय से दुकानों को न तोड़े जाने का स्थगन (स्टे) आदेश भी प्राप्त किया हुआ है। इसके बावजूद धर्मशाला परिसर में निर्माण कार्य कराया जा रहा था। इसी दौरान अचानक भारी लेंटर दुकानों की ओर गिर गया।
पीड़ित दुकानदार पप्पू उर्फ "पप्पू पतंग वाले" ने आरोप लगाया कि उनकी करीब 50 साल पुरानी किरायेदारी की दुकान को निशाना बनाकर लेंटर को बेलचे की सहायता से उनकी दुकान की ओर धकेला गया। इससे दुकान की पूरी छत टूट गई और अंदर रखा सामान भी मलबे में दब गया। उनका दावा है कि घटना के बाद दुकान में रखी नकदी और कुछ कीमती सामान भी गायब मिला है। उन्होंने पूरे मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच कर दोषियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
व्यापारियों के अनुसार, घटना से पप्पू पतंग वाले की दुकान के अलावा कल्लू नाई, श्याम कन्फेक्शनरी तथा अन्य दुकानों को भी नुकसान पहुंचा है। हादसे के बाद क्षेत्र के व्यापारियों में भारी रोष है। उनका कहना है कि यदि निर्माण कार्य के दौरान सुरक्षा मानकों का पालन किया जाता और विवादित मामले को देखते हुए सावधानी बरती जाती तो इस तरह की घटना टाली जा सकती थी।
सूचना मिलते ही कोतवाली प्रभारी अतुल चौहान पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण किया। पुलिस ने दोनों पक्षों से जानकारी जुटानी शुरू कर दी है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि न्यायालय में लंबित विवाद, स्टे आदेश तथा दुकानदारों द्वारा लगाए गए सभी आरोपों की गंभीरता से जांच की जाएगी। जांच में जो भी तथ्य सामने आएंगे, उनके आधार पर नियमानुसार विधिक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
घटना के बाद पूरे धोबी चौक क्षेत्र में दिनभर चर्चाओं का दौर चलता रहा। स्थानीय व्यापारियों ने मांग की कि विवादित स्थलों पर निर्माण कार्य शुरू करने से पहले प्रशासन की निगरानी सुनिश्चित की जाए, ताकि भविष्य में किसी भी प्रकार की जनहानि या आर्थिक नुकसान की पुनरावृत्ति न हो सके।
Dharamshala Roof Slab Collapses on Shops in Pilkhuwa; Shopkeepers Allege Deliberate Damage, Police Launch Probe
Hapur/Pilkhuwa: Panic spread across Dhobi Chowk in Pilkhuwa on Tuesday morning after a massive roof slab (lenter) of an old Dharamshala collapsed onto adjacent shops during ongoing construction work. The incident caused severe damage to several shops, including a nearly 50-year-old rented shop, triggering outrage among local traders.
According to shopkeepers, a legal dispute involving four to five shops adjacent to the Dharamshala is currently pending before a court. They claimed that a stay order had been obtained restraining any demolition of the shops. Despite this, construction work continued inside the Dharamshala premises.
Pappu, popularly known as "Pappu Patang Wale," alleged that workers intentionally pushed the concrete slab toward his shop using construction tools, causing the roof to collapse. He claimed that the shop suffered heavy financial losses and that cash along with some valuable belongings went missing after the incident. He has demanded a fair investigation and strict legal action against those responsible.
Other affected establishments reportedly include Kallu Nai's shop, Shyam Confectionery, and several nearby businesses. Traders expressed anger over the incident, saying that proper safety measures should have been taken, especially when the matter is already sub judice.
Station House Officer Atul Chauhan said that police reached the spot immediately after receiving information and have initiated an investigation. Statements from both parties are being recorded, and the court dispute, the alleged stay order, and all allegations will be examined before any legal action is taken.
The incident remained the talk of the town throughout the day, with local traders urging the authorities to ensure stricter supervision and safety measures during construction work at disputed properties to prevent such incidents in the future.
