हापुड़। समाजवादी पार्टी अल्पसंख्यक सभा, हापुड़ ने मोहम्मद अली जौहर विश्वविद्यालय को बचाने और उसके विरुद्ध प्रस्तावित ध्वस्तीकरण अथवा विध्वंस की किसी भी कार्रवाई पर तत्काल रोक लगाने की मांग को लेकर सोमवार को जिलाधिकारी को संबोधित ज्ञापन सौंपा। ज्ञापन में विश्वविद्यालय को प्रदेश के हजारों छात्र-छात्राओं की शिक्षा और भविष्य से जुड़ा महत्वपूर्ण संस्थान बताते हुए सरकार से संवैधानिक प्रक्रिया के तहत निष्पक्ष निर्णय लेने की मांग की गई।

ज्ञापन में कहा गया कि मोहम्मद अली जौहर विश्वविद्यालय का मुद्दा केवल एक संस्थान तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि इससे हजारों विद्यार्थियों की पढ़ाई, डिग्री और भविष्य जुड़ा हुआ है। ऐसे में यदि किसी प्रकार की विध्वंसात्मक कार्रवाई की जाती है तो इसका सीधा असर छात्रों के शैक्षणिक जीवन पर पड़ेगा। इसलिए सरकार को कोई भी कदम उठाने से पहले शिक्षा के अधिकार और विद्यार्थियों के हितों को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देनी चाहिए।

सपा नेताओं ने जिलाधिकारी से अनुरोध किया कि ज्ञापन को उचित माध्यम से महामहिम राज्यपाल तक भेजते हुए मामले में आवश्यक कार्रवाई कराई जाए, ताकि छात्रों के हित सुरक्षित रह सकें और पूरे प्रकरण में कानून तथा संविधान के अनुरूप निष्पक्ष प्रक्रिया अपनाई जाए।

इस दौरान पार्टी पदाधिकारियों ने कहा कि शिक्षा संस्थानों को राजनीतिक विवादों से दूर रखा जाना चाहिए और किसी भी निर्णय में विद्यार्थियों के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ नहीं होना चाहिए। ज्ञापन सौंपने के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में समाजवादी पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।

सपा नेता देवेंद्र जाखड़ ने कहा "मोहम्मद अली जौहर विश्वविद्यालय हजारों छात्र-छात्राओं के सपनों और उनके भविष्य से जुड़ा हुआ संस्थान है। यदि किसी भी प्रकार की ध्वस्तीकरण की कार्रवाई होती है तो सबसे बड़ा नुकसान उन विद्यार्थियों का होगा, जिन्होंने यहां अपनी शिक्षा के लिए वर्षों की मेहनत की है। समाजवादी पार्टी शिक्षा के अधिकार की पक्षधर है और हम चाहते हैं कि सरकार किसी भी कार्रवाई से पहले संवैधानिक प्रक्रिया का पूरी तरह पालन करे। हमारा उद्देश्य किसी व्यक्ति विशेष का नहीं, बल्कि छात्रों के भविष्य की रक्षा करना है। सरकार को ऐसा कोई कदम नहीं उठाना चाहिए जिससे प्रदेश के युवाओं में असुरक्षा की भावना पैदा हो।"

सपा नेता किशन सिंह तोमर ने कहा "हमने जिलाधिकारी के माध्यम से राज्यपाल तक अपनी मांग पहुंचाने का आग्रह किया है। हमारा कहना है कि विश्वविद्यालय से जुड़े किसी भी फैसले में जल्दबाजी नहीं होनी चाहिए। हजारों परिवार अपने बच्चों की पढ़ाई को लेकर चिंतित हैं। यदि किसी प्रकार की कार्रवाई प्रस्तावित है तो पहले सभी कानूनी और संवैधानिक पहलुओं पर निष्पक्ष विचार किया जाए। शिक्षा का अधिकार सर्वोपरि है और छात्रों के भविष्य को किसी भी परिस्थिति में प्रभावित नहीं होने दिया जाना चाहिए। समाजवादी पार्टी लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से छात्रों और शिक्षा के हित में अपनी आवाज उठाती रहेगी।"

SP Minority Wing Submits Memorandum Seeking Halt to Action Against Mohammad Ali Jauhar University

Hapur: The Minority Wing of the Samajwadi Party (SP) in Hapur on Monday submitted a memorandum addressed to the District Magistrate, urging the government to immediately halt any proposed demolition or coercive action against Mohammad Ali Jauhar University. The party leaders stated that the university is a major educational institution and that thousands of students' academic future is closely linked to it.

In the memorandum, SP leaders said that any action affecting the university could have a direct impact on the education and careers of students. They appealed to the administration to ensure that the matter is dealt with strictly in accordance with constitutional and legal procedures while giving the highest priority to the students' right to education.

The memorandum also requested the District Magistrate to forward their representation to the Hon'ble Governor through the appropriate channel and seek necessary action in the matter. Party workers emphasized that educational institutions should not become victims of disputes and that students' interests must remain paramount.

A large number of Samajwadi Party workers and office-bearers were present during the submission of the memorandum.

Statement by SP Leader Kishan Singh Tomar: "We have submitted our memorandum through the District Magistrate with the request that it be forwarded to the Hon'ble Governor for appropriate consideration. Decisions involving educational institutions should not be taken in haste. Thousands of students and their families are anxious about their future. Any proposed action should be preceded by a fair, transparent, and constitutional process. The Samajwadi Party will continue to raise its voice democratically for the protection of students' educational rights and future."
