सांसद प्रतिनिधि की बेटी की शादी में चोरों ने लगाई सेंध

हापुड़। शादी की खुशियां उस समय मातम जैसे माहौल में बदल गईं, जब शहर के एक प्रतिष्ठित मैरिज होम में आयोजित विवाह समारोह के दौरान चोरों ने लाखों रुपये की नकदी और सोने-चांदी के आभूषणों पर हाथ साफ कर दिया। वारदात वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता एवं मेरठ-हापुड़ लोकसभा क्षेत्र के सांसद अरुण गोविल के प्रतिनिधि अशोक बबली के परिवार में हुई, जिसके बाद शादी समारोह में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। हाईप्रोफाइल मामला होने के कारण पुलिस भी तत्काल हरकत में आ गई और जांच शुरू कर दी।

जानकारी के अनुसार अशोक बबली की पुत्री का विवाह समारोह गढ़ रोड स्थित मनोहर रिजेंसी मैरिज होम में आयोजित किया गया था। शनिवार को पूरे रीति-रिवाज और धूमधाम के साथ विवाह संपन्न हुआ। शादी में बड़ी संख्या में रिश्तेदार, मेहमान और परिचित शामिल हुए थे। समारोह के चलते मैरिज होम में लगातार लोगों की आवाजाही बनी हुई थी।

बताया जा रहा है कि इसी भीड़भाड़ और व्यस्तता का फायदा उठाकर शातिर चोर मैरिज होम के एक कमरे तक पहुंच गए। आरोप है कि चोरों ने कमरे की खिड़की तोड़कर अंदर प्रवेश किया और वहां रखा एक बैग लेकर फरार हो गए। परिवार के लोगों के अनुसार बैग में बेटी की विदाई के लिए रखी गई 10 लाख रुपये से अधिक की नकदी के अलावा सोने-चांदी के कीमती आभूषण भी रखे थे।

घटना की जानकारी रविवार सुबह उस समय हुई, जब परिवार के सदस्य कमरे में पहुंचे। खिड़की टूटी मिली और बैग गायब देखकर सभी के पैरों तले जमीन खिसक गई। कुछ ही देर में शादी की खुशियां चिंता और हड़कंप में बदल गईं। इसके बाद पुलिस को सूचना दी गई।

सूचना मिलते ही थाना हापुड़ देहात प्रभारी पारस मलिक पुलिस टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस ने घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण किया और आसपास मौजूद लोगों से पूछताछ की। घटनास्थल से मिले साक्ष्यों को सुरक्षित कर जांच आगे बढ़ाई जा रही है।

पुलिस मैरिज होम और आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाल रही है। आशंका है कि वारदात को अंजाम देने वाले आरोपी पहले से रेकी कर रहे थे और शादी समारोह की भीड़ का फायदा उठाकर चोरी की घटना को अंजाम दिया। पुलिस संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों की गतिविधियों का भी पता लगा रही है।

थाना प्रभारी पारस मलिक का कहना है कि मामले की गंभीरता से जांच की जा रही है। सीसीटीवी फुटेज और अन्य साक्ष्यों के आधार पर आरोपियों की पहचान का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। जल्द ही घटना का खुलासा कर चोरी में शामिल लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा।

शादी के सीजन में लगातार सामने आ रही चोरी की घटनाओं ने एक बार फिर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। खासकर बड़े विवाह समारोहों में भीड़ का फायदा उठाकर सक्रिय होने वाले चोर गिरोह अब पुलिस के लिए बड़ी चुनौती बनते जा रहे हैं। पुलिस ने लोगों से भी अपील की है कि शादी समारोहों के दौरान नकदी और कीमती आभूषणों को सुरक्षित स्थान पर रखें तथा संदिग्ध गतिविधि दिखाई देने पर तत्काल पुलिस को सूचना दें।

MP Representative’s Daughter’s Wedding Hit by Major Theft; Cash and Jewellery Worth Over ₹10 Lakh Stolen

Hapur: A joyful wedding celebration turned into a scene of panic after thieves allegedly stole cash and jewellery worth more than ₹10 lakh during a marriage ceremony at a well-known banquet hall in Hapur. The incident took place at the wedding of the daughter of Ashok Babli, a senior BJP leader and the representative of Meerut-Hapur Member of Parliament Arun Govil. Following the high-profile theft, police launched an investigation.

According to information, the wedding ceremony was held at Manohar Regency Marriage Home on Garh Road. The marriage rituals were completed with traditional customs on Saturday, with a large number of relatives, guests, and well-wishers attending the event.

Police said the thieves allegedly took advantage of the heavy crowd and entered a locked room by breaking a window. They reportedly escaped with a bag containing more than ₹10 lakh in cash, kept for the bride’s farewell ceremony, along with valuable gold and silver jewellery.

The theft came to light on Sunday morning when family members entered the room and found the window broken and the bag missing. The discovery caused panic among the family members, who immediately informed the police.

Considering the high-profile nature of the case, Hapur Dehat Police Station In-charge Paras Malik reached the spot with his team soon after receiving the information. The police inspected the crime scene, collected evidence, and began a detailed investigation.

Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the marriage home and nearby areas to identify the suspects. Police suspect the accused may have conducted prior surveillance and taken advantage of the wedding crowd to execute the theft.

Station House Officer Paras Malik said that the investigation is being carried out from all possible angles. He added that CCTV footage and other evidence are being analyzed, and the accused will be identified and arrested at the earliest.

The incident has once again raised concerns over the activities of theft gangs during the wedding season. Police have advised people to keep cash and valuables in secure locations and to immediately report any suspicious activity during large social gatherings.
