स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर मेरठ रेंज में अभेद्य सुरक्षा घेरा, 4 हजार पुलिसकर्मी संभालेंगे मोर्चा

स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर मेरठ रेंज में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था चाक-चौबंद रहेगी। 4 हजार पुलिसकर्मियों की तैनाती, 24 जोन, 81 सेक्टर और 62 क्यूआरटी के साथ तिरंगा यात्रा व अन्य कार्यक्रमों पर कड़ी निगरानी रहेगी।

हापुड। स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मद्देनजर मेरठ रेंज में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को चाक-चौबंद कर दिया गया है। 15 अगस्त को होने वाले तिरंगा यात्रा, प्रभात फेरी, शोभायात्रा और विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों को लेकर पुलिस ने व्यापक सुरक्षा योजना तैयार की है। रेंज में करीब 4,000 पुलिसकर्मियों की तैनाती की गई है। सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए पूरे परिक्षेत्र को 24 जोन और 81 सेक्टर में बांटने के साथ ही 62 क्यूआरटी (क्विक रिस्पांस टीम) तैनात की गई हैं।

पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक मेरठ परिक्षेत्र कलानिधि नैथानी ने बताया कि स्वतंत्रता दिवस राष्ट्रीय पर्व है और इस दौरान बड़ी संख्या में लोग तिरंगा यात्राओं और अन्य कार्यक्रमों में शामिल होते हैं। पर्व को शांतिपूर्ण एवं सकुशल संपन्न कराने के लिए पुलिस पूरी तरह अलर्ट मोड पर है। सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से रेंज में पांच विशेष चेकिंग अभियान शुरू किए गए हैं। इन अभियानों के तहत सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों, महत्वपूर्ण प्रतिष्ठानों, बाजारों, सार्वजनिक स्थलों, होटल, धर्मशाला, रेलवे स्टेशन और बस स्टैंड समेत अन्य स्थानों पर विशेष निगरानी रखी जा रही है।

ऑपरेशन शील के तहत अंतरराज्यीय, अंतरजनपदीय और थाना सीमाओं पर बैरियर लगाकर संदिग्ध वाहनों एवं व्यक्तियों की जांच की जा रही है। ऑपरेशन कवच में स्कूल-कॉलेज, बैंक, एटीएम, वित्तीय संस्थानों और महत्वपूर्ण प्रतिष्ठानों की सुरक्षा जांच पर जोर है। वहीं ऑपरेशन पहचान के तहत दोपहिया और चारपहिया वाहनों, तीन सवारी, बिना हेलमेट, काली फिल्म और हूटर आदि के नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ जांच की जा रही है।

ऑपरेशन बाजार के तहत बाजारों, मॉल, मेलों और भीड़भाड़ वाले स्थानों पर संदिग्ध गतिविधियों पर नजर रखी जा रही है। इसके अलावा ऑपरेशन स्वीप में होटल, धर्मशाला, सराय, ढाबे, रेलवे स्टेशन और बस अड्डों आदि की भौतिक एवं सीसीटीवी आधारित जांच की जा रही है। रेंज में स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर 75 तिरंगा यात्राएं प्रस्तावित हैं। इनमें मेरठ में 29, बुलंदशहर में 23, बागपत में एक और हापुड़ में 22 तिरंगा यात्राएं शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा 22 प्रभात फेरियां, 32 शोभायात्राएं और 30 अन्य सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तावित हैं।

सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए मेरठ रेंज के जनपदों में सात अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक, 26 क्षेत्राधिकारी, 91 निरीक्षक, 634 उपनिरीक्षक, 1,183 मुख्य आरक्षी, 1,263 आरक्षी, 405 होमगार्ड/पीआरडी जवान और एक कंपनी पीएसी की ड्यूटी लगाई गई है। रेंज में कुल 302 चेकिंग प्वाइंट भी चिन्हित किए गए हैं। इनमें मेरठ में 134, बुलंदशहर में 90, बागपत में 47 और हापुड़ में 31 चेकिंग प्वाइंट शामिल हैं।

हापुड़ में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के लिए तीन जोन, 10 सेक्टर और 11 क्यूआरटी बनाई गई हैं। इसी तरह मेरठ में नौ जोन, 31 सेक्टर और 31 क्यूआरटी, बुलंदशहर में सात जोन, 27 सेक्टर और सात क्यूआरटी तथा बागपत में पांच जोन, 13 सेक्टर और 13 क्यूआरटी तैनात रहेंगी।

डीआईजी ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि सभी महत्वपूर्ण आयोजनों की सूची तैयार कर उनके अनुरूप सुरक्षा और यातायात व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित की जाए। कार्यक्रम स्थलों पर प्रवेश और निकास व्यवस्था की विशेष निगरानी, रूफटॉप ड्यूटी, एंटी-सबोटाज जांच और सीसीटीवी कैमरों की सक्रियता सुनिश्चित करने को कहा गया है। रेलवे स्टेशन, बस स्टेशन, मेट्रो स्टेशन, होटल, शॉपिंग मॉल, सिनेमाघर, धार्मिक स्थल और अन्य भीड़भाड़ वाले स्थानों पर भी विशेष सुरक्षा व्यवस्था रखने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। जनपदों के प्रवेश मार्गों पर प्रभावी चेकिंग के साथ पुलिस बल को लगातार ब्रीफ करने और संदिग्ध गतिविधियों पर तत्काल कार्रवाई करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।

पुलिस का खुफिया तंत्र और सोशल मीडिया सेल भी सक्रिय रहेगा। संदिग्ध गतिविधियों, अफवाहों और कानून-व्यवस्था को प्रभावित करने वाली किसी भी सूचना पर नजर रखने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। संवेदनशील धार्मिक स्थलों और महत्वपूर्ण प्रतिष्ठानों की सुरक्षा निर्धारित मानकों के अनुसार सुनिश्चित करने को कहा गया है।

डीआईजी कलानिधि नैथानी ने अधिकारियों को नियमित चेकिंग, फुट पेट्रोलिंग और फ्लैग मार्च बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए हैं। साथ ही पीस कमेटी, धर्मगुरुओं, शांति समितियों, आयोजकों और संभ्रांत लोगों के साथ समन्वय बनाए रखने पर भी जोर दिया गया है। रेंज पुलिस ने आमजन से स्वतंत्रता दिवस के कार्यक्रमों में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेने और ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ अभियान में बढ़-चढ़कर सहभागिता करने की अपील की है।

Meerut Range on High Alert Ahead of Independence Day, 4,000 Policemen to Ensure Security

Hapur: Extensive security arrangements have been put in place across the Meerut Range ahead of Independence Day on August 15. With numerous Tiranga Yatras, Prabhat Pheris, processions and cultural programmes scheduled across the region, police have launched special checking operations and deployed nearly 4,000 personnel to ensure peaceful and secure celebrations.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Meerut Range, Kalanidhi Naithani, said that Independence Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country and a large number of people participate in national events. Keeping this in mind, comprehensive security arrangements have been made across Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr and Baghpat districts.

The entire range has been divided into 24 zones and 81 sectors, while 62 Quick Response Teams (QRTs) have been deployed to respond swiftly to any emergency situation. Five special security operations Operation Sheel, Operation Kavach, Operation Pehchan, Operation Bazaar and Operation Sweep have been activated across the range.

Under Operation Sheel, police are conducting intensive checking of suspicious persons and vehicles at inter-state, inter-district and police station border points. Operation Kavach focuses on security checks at schools, colleges, banks, ATMs, financial institutions and other important establishments. Under Operation Pehchan, police are checking two-wheelers and four-wheelers, triple riding, vehicles with black films, helmet violations, hooters and suspicious vehicles at major intersections and sensitive locations.

Operation Bazaar focuses on markets, malls, fairs and crowded public places, while Operation Sweep covers hotels, guest houses, dharamshalas, inns, roadside eateries, railway stations and bus stands through physical and CCTV-based checking.

As many as 75 Tiranga Yatras are proposed across the Meerut Range. Of these, 29 will be held in Meerut, 23 in Bulandshahr, one in Baghpat and 22 in Hapur. Apart from these, 22 Prabhat Pheris, 32 processions and 30 other cultural programmes have also been proposed.

For maintaining law and order, the range has deployed 7 Additional Superintendents of Police, 26 Circle Officers, 91 Inspectors, 634 Sub-Inspectors, 1,183 Head Constables, 1,263 Constables, 405 Home Guards/PRD personnel and one PAC company. A total of 302 checking points have been identified across the four districts. Meerut will have 134 checking points, Bulandshahr 90, Baghpat 47 and Hapur 31.

In Hapur, the security arrangement has been divided into three zones and 10 sectors, with 11 QRTs deployed. Meerut will have nine zones, 31 sectors and 31 QRTs, while Bulandshahr will have seven zones, 27 sectors and seven QRTs. Baghpat will have five zones, 13 sectors and 13 QRTs.

DIG Kalanidhi Naithani has directed district police officials to ensure foolproof security at all important events. Anti-sabotage checks will be conducted before programmes, while special security arrangements will be made at entry and exit points. Rooftop deployment and proper traffic management have also been ordered.

Special attention will be given to railway stations, metro stations, bus stands, hotels, shopping malls, cinema halls, religious places and other crowded locations. Police have also been instructed to ensure continuous checking at district entry points and keep all CCTV cameras operational. The intelligence network and social media monitoring teams have been activated to keep a close watch on suspicious activities and misinformation. Police have also been directed to maintain heightened vigilance regarding sensitive locations and conduct regular foot patrols and flag marches.

The DIG has further instructed officials to maintain coordination with peace committees, religious leaders, organizers and prominent citizens. Meetings have already been held with various stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination during the celebrations. Police officials have also been directed to maintain strict surveillance against illegal arms, ammunition, liquor and explosive material, besides verifying tenants and keeping a close watch on suspicious movement.

DIG Kalanidhi Naithani appealed to citizens to celebrate Independence Day peacefully and participate enthusiastically in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, while cooperating with the police and administration to ensure a safe and successful national celebration.
