हापुड़। गढ़मुक्तेश्वर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के खादर इलाके में खेत पर काम कर रहे किसान पर जंगली जानवर के हमले से हड़कंप मच गया। हमले में किसान घायल हो गया और उसने किसी तरह खेत से भागकर अपनी जान बचाई। किसान और ग्रामीणों को आशंका है कि हमला तेंदुए ने किया है, क्योंकि क्षेत्र में पिछले कई महीनों से तेंदुआ देखे जाने की चर्चाएं सामने आती रही हैं। हालांकि, मौके पर पहुंची वन विभाग की टीम ने फिलहाल हमलावर जानवर के तेंदुआ होने की पुष्टि नहीं की है। वन विभाग की ओर से इसे जंगली जानवर का हमला बताया जा रहा है।

बताया गया कि खादर क्षेत्र में किसान अपने खेत पर काम कर रहा था। इसी दौरान अचानक एक जंगली जानवर उसके सामने आ गया। किसान के अनुसार जानवर ने उस पर हमला कर दिया। अचानक हुए हमले से घबराए किसान ने किसी तरह वहां से भागकर अपनी जान बचाई। हमले में किसान घायल हो गया। परिजन उसे उपचार के लिए अस्पताल लेकर पहुंचे, जहां उसका इलाज चल रहा है।

घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही आसपास के ग्रामीणों में भी दहशत फैल गई। ग्रामीणों ने आशंका जताई कि जिस जानवर ने किसान पर हमला किया, वह तेंदुआ हो सकता है। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि खादर क्षेत्र में पिछले कई महीनों से तेंदुए के देखे जाने की बातें सामने आती रही हैं। कई ग्रामीणों ने खेतों और आसपास के इलाके में तेंदुए जैसा जानवर देखे जाने का दावा भी किया है।

हालांकि वन विभाग की टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच-पड़ताल की, लेकिन टीम को ऐसा कोई पुख्ता प्रमाण नहीं मिला, जिसके आधार पर हमलावर जानवर को तेंदुआ बताया जा सके। वन विभाग की ओर से अभी तेंदुए की पुष्टि नहीं की गई है। विभाग की टीम घटना को जंगली जानवर के हमले के तौर पर देख रही है।

इसके बावजूद किसान पर हमले की घटना ने ग्रामीणों की चिंता बढ़ा दी है। खेतों में काम करने वाले किसान अब विशेष सावधानी बरत रहे हैं। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि यदि क्षेत्र में वास्तव में तेंदुए की मौजूदगी है तो उसकी निगरानी और पहचान के लिए वन विभाग को प्रभावी कदम उठाने चाहिए।

ग्रामीणों ने क्षेत्र में कैमरा ट्रैप लगाने, गश्त बढ़ाने और संभावित जंगली जानवर की पहचान करने की मांग की है। उनका कहना है कि जब तक हमलावर जानवर की पहचान नहीं हो जाती, तब तक खादर क्षेत्र में भय का माहौल बना रहेगा।

वन विभाग की टीम की ओर से भी क्षेत्र पर नजर रखने की बात कही गई है। फिलहाल घायल किसान का अस्पताल में उपचार जारी है। तेंदुए की आशंका को लेकर ग्रामीणों और वन विभाग के दावों में अंतर है, लेकिन किसान पर हुए हमले ने खादर क्षेत्र में जंगली जानवरों की मौजूदगी को लेकर चिंता जरूर बढ़ा दी है।

Hapur: Panic spread among villagers in the Khadar area of Garhmukteshwar after a farmer working in his field was attacked by a wild animal. The farmer sustained injuries in the incident and reportedly managed to escape from the field to save his life.

The incident took place in the Khadar area under Garhmukteshwar Kotwali police station. According to the farmer, he was working in his field when a wild animal suddenly appeared and attacked him. The farmer managed to run away from the spot and reached a safe place. He was later taken to a hospital for treatment, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Following the incident, villagers expressed concern and suspected that the animal could have been a leopard. They claimed that there have been reports and discussions about the presence of a leopard in the Khadar area for the past several months. Some villagers also claimed to have seen an animal resembling a leopard in and around agricultural fields.

However, the Forest Department has not confirmed that the animal involved in the incident was a leopard. A Forest Department team inspected the area and conducted an initial investigation, but no conclusive evidence was found to establish the presence of a leopard or confirm that the farmer was attacked by one.

The department is currently treating the incident as an attack by a wild animal, and further assessment is expected to determine the identity of the animal involved.

The incident has nevertheless increased anxiety among local farmers and residents. Villagers have urged the Forest Department to intensify patrolling in the area and take steps to identify the animal.

Residents have also demanded that camera traps be installed at strategic locations so that the movement of any wild animal can be monitored and its identity established. They said that farmers are now concerned about entering their fields alone, particularly during early morning and evening hours.

At present, the injured farmer is receiving medical treatment. While villagers continue to suspect a leopard attack, the Forest Department has not officially confirmed the presence of a leopard or that the attack was carried out by one. The exact identity of the animal involved will become clearer after further investigation.
