गौरव हत्याकांड में पुलिस का शिकंजा: छठा आरोपी जसवंत गिरफ्तार, सात में छह सलाखों के पीछे

हापुड़। गौरव त्यागी हत्याकांड में हापुड़ देहात पुलिस ने फरार चल रहे 25 हजार रुपये के इनामी छठे आरोपी जसवंत को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस ने उसे उसके गांव मौहम्मदपुर आजमपुर स्थित मकान से दबोचा। इस गिरफ्तारी के साथ ही हत्या के मामले में नामजद सात आरोपितों में से छह पुलिस की गिरफ्त में आ चुके हैं। एक अन्य फरार आरोपित की तलाश में पुलिस टीमें लगातार दबिश दे रही हैं।

बाबूगढ़ थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम मौहम्मदपुर आजमपुर निवासी गौरव त्यागी पुत्र फतेह सिंह की 18 अगस्त को उस समय हत्या कर दी गई थी, जब वह बाइक से हापुड़ में अपने अधिवक्ता से मिलने जा रहा था। रास्ते में आरोपितों ने उसे घेर लिया और लाठी-डंडों के साथ हथौड़े तथा लोहे की रॉड से बेरहमी से हमला कर दिया। गंभीर रूप से घायल गौरव की बाद में मौत हो गई थी। घटना का वीडियो भी सामने आया था, जिसमें कुछ लोग गौरव पर हमला करते दिखाई दे रहे थे।

मामले में सात लोगों के खिलाफ नामजद मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया था। पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए शुरुआत में राजवीर और जयपाल को गिरफ्तार किया। इसके बाद फरार आरोपितों पर शिकंजा कसते हुए पुलिस ने कचहरी में आत्मसमर्पण करने पहुंचे अमित और कुलदीप को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। इसी दौरान पुलिस की दोयमी गांव के पास तीसरे फरार आरोपित प्रदीप से मुठभेड़ हो गई। पुलिस के मुताबिक प्रदीप ने टीम पर फायरिंग की, जिसके बाद जवाबी कार्रवाई में उसके पैर में गोली लगी। घायल होने के बाद उसे गिरफ्तार कर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया।

पुलिस ने फरार मुख्य आरोपितों पर 25-25 हजार रुपये का इनाम घोषित किया था। शुक्रवार की कार्रवाई के बाद पुलिस ने बाकी आरोपितों की तलाश और तेज कर दी। इसी क्रम में हापुड़ देहात पुलिस ने 25 हजार रुपये के इनामी वांछित आरोपित जसवंत पुत्र जगवीर निवासी मौहम्मदपुर आजमपुर को उसके मकान से गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

पुलिस के अनुसार जसवंत के खिलाफ हापुड़ देहात थाने में मुकदमा बीएनएस में मुकदमा दर्ज है। गिरफ्तारी के बाद पुलिस ने आरोपित के खिलाफ अग्रिम विधिक कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।

पुलिस अधिकारियों के मुताबिक गौरव हत्याकांड में अब तक सात नामजद आरोपितों में से छह गिरफ्तार किए जा चुके हैं। पुलिस फरार चल रहे अंतिम आरोपित की गिरफ्तारी के लिए संभावित ठिकानों पर दबिश दे रही है। पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले में उपलब्ध साक्ष्यों के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है और फरार आरोपित को भी जल्द गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा।

गौरव हत्याकांड में लगातार हो रही गिरफ्तारियों के बाद आरोपितों पर पुलिस का शिकंजा कसता जा रहा है। कचहरी में आत्मसमर्पण की कोशिश से लेकर पुलिस मुठभेड़ और अब घर से इनामी आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी तक हुई कार्रवाई ने साफ कर दिया है कि पुलिस मामले के सभी आरोपितों तक पहुंचने में जुटी है।

Gaurav Tyagi Murder Case: Sixth Accused Arrested, Six of Seven Named Accused Now in Police Custody

Hapur: Hapur Dehat Police has arrested another accused in the Gaurav Tyagi murder case. The police arrested Jaswant, who was carrying a reward of Rs 25,000, from his residence in Mohammadpur Azampur village. With this arrest, six of the seven accused named in the case have now been arrested. Police teams are continuing efforts to trace the remaining accused.

Gaurav Tyagi, a resident of Mohammadpur Azampur village, was allegedly attacked on August 18 while he was travelling by motorcycle to meet his lawyer in Hapur. According to the police, the accused intercepted him on the way and attacked him with sticks, a hammer and an iron rod. Gaurav sustained serious injuries and later succumbed to them. A video of the assault also surfaced after the incident.

Police had registered a case against seven named accused following the murder. During the initial investigation, accused Rajveer and Jaipal were arrested. On Friday, police also arrested Amit and Kuldeep near the Hapur court premises when they allegedly arrived to surrender.

Later, police teams reportedly encountered another accused, Pradeep, near Doymi village. According to police, Pradeep opened fire at the police team when he was stopped and attempted to flee. In the retaliatory firing, he sustained a bullet injury to his leg. He was subsequently arrested and taken to hospital for treatment. Police also claimed to have recovered a weapon and ammunition from his possession.

Following the Friday operation, police intensified their search for the remaining accused. During the operation, Hapur Dehat Police arrested Jaswant, son of Jagveer, from his residence in Mohammadpur Azampur. He was wanted in connection with the murder case and carried a reward of Rs 25,000.

Police said the case is registered under sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 103(1) and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Further legal proceedings against the arrested accused are underway.

According to police officials, six of the seven accused named in the Gaurav Tyagi murder case have now been arrested. Teams have been formed to locate the remaining accused and are conducting raids at possible hideouts.

The police have intensified surveillance and investigation in the case and said efforts are underway to arrest the last absconding accused at the earliest.
