हापुड़। सिंभावली थाना क्षेत्र के गांव देवली में बुधवार को पति-पत्नी के बीच हुए विवाद को लेकर ऐसी अफवाह फैल गई कि पूरे क्षेत्र में हड़कंप मच गया। अफवाह में दावा किया गया कि पत्नी के किसी युवक से कथित संबंध के शक में पति ने उसकी गर्दन काट दी और महिला को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। हालांकि, पड़ताल में मामला पूरी तरह अलग निकला। न तो महिला की गर्दन काटी गई और न ही उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। पति-पत्नी दोनों सुरक्षित अपने घर पर हैं।

जानकारी के अनुसार, देवली गांव में पति को अपनी पत्नी के किसी युवक से बातचीत करने का शक था। इसी बात को लेकर दोनों के बीच कहासुनी हो गई। विवाद के दौरान पति द्वारा ब्लेड से पत्नी को हल्की चोट लगने की बात सामने आई है। घटना इतनी मामूली थी कि कुछ ही समय में पति-पत्नी अपने घर पर ही मौजूद रहे।

बताया जा रहा है कि इसी विवाद को लेकर किसी स्तर पर गलत सूचना फैल गई और देखते ही देखते बात बढ़ते-बढ़ते पत्नी की गर्दन काटने तक पहुंच गई। सोशल मीडिया और आपसी बातचीत के माध्यम से यह अफवाह क्षेत्र में तेजी से फैल गई। अफवाह सुनकर लोग घटना की वास्तविकता जानने के लिए परेशान हो गए।

हकीकत सामने आने के बाद लोगों ने राहत की सांस ली। महिला को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराए जाने की बात भी गलत निकली। पति-पत्नी दोनों सुरक्षित हैं और अपने घर में रह रहे हैं।
